Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a solid foreign material of each kind effectively removable from an insulating air space, by providing a blocked catcher hole at an opening end branched from the earth case toward the lower side.
CONSTITUTION: A high voltage conductor 12 and an earth case 11 are almost coaxially arranged,further with the axis being placed so as to be horizontal. For a purpose of catching a solid foreign material, a tightly closed pipe-shape hole, at outside end part, branched downward from the earth case, that is, a catcher hole 15 is provided, and a metal plate or a wire net, kept to a potential of the earth, with a plurality of holes being curved to provide a curvature from inner surfaces of earth case toward the center of outside end part of the hole, that is, catcher plate 16 is installed.
