Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce a catalyst with long lifetime and high activity used for hydrogen treating heavy or light oil by contacting sepiolite with an aq. soln. of specified pH value contg. Co, Ni, Fe, Cu or lanthanide ion; supporting the metal by ion exchange reaction; and washing out Mg eluted from sepiolite.
