Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase yield of molten steel and to reduce quantities of submaterials required per unit product by leaving a portion of, or all of, slag in the converter, from which the steel has been taken out, by coating inside wall of the furnace with the slag mixed with slag-hardening agent by shaking the furnace, then by feeding the furnace with raw material and by blowing.
