Abstract
PURPOSE: To convert sulfate ion formed in the anolyte into high purity gypsum in one step and recover the gypsum in regeneration of an absorbing soln. contg. a Fe type catalyst after treatment of exhaust gas by electrolysis using an anion exchange membrane as a diaphragm, by adding slaked lime to the anolyte discharged from the anode part.
