Abstract
PURPOSE: To make desulfurization apparatus compact and to prevent deterioration in catalytic activity during denitration stage by leading a portion of exhaust gas containing NOx and SOx, SOx being more than prescribed ratio, to wet absorption stage to remove SOx, then by mixing the portion with untreated portion of the exhaust gas to reduce NOx to N2.
