PURPOSE: To provide a method for separating pulverulent bodies containing magnetic substamces and an apparatus therefor, wherein, by noticing the difference in the specific gravities of the pulverulent bodies, a magnetic field is applied to the main strcture of a cyclone to impart a force to the magnetic sbstances thereby varying apparent specific gravities thereof, thus the separation of the pulverulent bodies being improved.
