Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a method of producing a cable, having improved flexibility and heat radiation performance, wherein a cable core is covered with a metal tape which is welded to form a covering metal tube, the metal tube is subjected to a corrugating operation by means of two cable conveying devices one of which is disposed at a front position and the other disposed at a rear position relative to the position forming a recessed area in the metal tube, the front conveying device being operated at a conveying velocity smaller than that of the rear conveying device, whereby the metal tube is corrugated.
