Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a speed control system for use in electrical discharge machinihg apparatus, in which, in the initial stage of machining, machining speed os controlled for a certain period of time, to obtain optimal relationship between work and machining electrodes, and the subsequent machining is conducted at the average machining speed in the above intial period, whereby highly accurate machining can be attained by sliminating deviation in feed speed.
