PURPOSE:To obtain a weld metal of high toughness by using a C-Mn type wire in case of a weld metal of yield point less than 40hg/mm<2> or a CIMo type wire in case of a weld metal of yield point more than 40kg/mm<2> and combining the wire with a B-contg. fusion type flux of high basicity.
