PURPOSE:To provide a semipermeable membrane made from polyparabanic acid which is excellent in heat resistance, mechanical strength, chemicals resistance, having high water permeability, and is suited for separation of components contained in a fluid by reverse osmosis or ultrafiltration, and can be used in the treatment of hot waste solution and highly acidic waste solution.
