Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of solar energy-utilization by setting a solar light-penetrating ion conductor between n-type and p-type semiconductor electrodes of different width of forbidden band. Solar light of shorter wave length is absorbed by one of the electrodes, and solar light of longer wave length by the other electrode, exciting the electrodes.
