Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a cooling-air controlling apparatus for use in aircraft engines, in which air outlet port for discharging engine cooling air is porvided at a suitable position in the vicinity of leading edger of aerodynamic wing, at the root portion of the same, whereby effective area of the outlet port and backpressure can be controlled in accordance with the change in aerodynamic pressure field.
