PURPOSE: A coke furnace's liquefied gas-treating method which is effective for making the gas-containing solution harmless and done in such a manner that amount of alkali addition to the liquefied gas-containing waste solution is appropriately controlled within a range to prevent the gas from changing its characteristic and thus treated solution is distilled, and then active sludge contained in the waste solution is further treated.
