Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the quality of optical fibers through reducing the number of OH radicals by the removal with the chemical reaction taking place only with the hydride and the moisture in the reacting gas inside the reaction tube, prior to putting them into a quartz tube according to the CVD process.
