Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost for storing and transporting H2 by placing a closed vessel filled with metal in pressurized H2 gas; making the pressure inside and outside the vessel equal; hydrogenating the metal; reducing the pressure inside the vessel to atmospheric pressure after the reaction; and sealing the vessel.
