Abstract

PURPOSE: Dry distillation of sewage sludge which is characterized to have specific advantages, i.e. remarkable reduction of hexavalent chromium formation, greater sludge treatment capacity per unit hour with less fuel consumption than the conventional similar method taken so far, less pipe clogging or staining of machines and apparatus with tars produced in or from exhaust gas.
