Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the fitting of a sanitary napkin to the body and to prevent a leak by extending elastic members having an expansion property in the longitudinal direction from the front and rear end sections of the sanitary napkin, and forming adhesive areas on the contact faces of the extension end sections of the elastic members to worn short panties. SOLUTION: A sanitary napkin 1 formed with a menstrual blood absorbing structure at a center area 4 is provided with both end edge sections 2 located at the front and rear of worn short panties and extended in the width direction and both side edge sections 3 extended in the longitudinal direction along leg peripheral edge sections.
