Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat display device improved in workability and decreased in damage of parts. SOLUTION: A glass substrate 1 is inserted from a front side of a frame 3, and is positioned by positioning one end face 2 on the frame 3 to a position adjustment reference plane 4a, and is inserted from an open side with the other end face 2 fitted on an inclined surface 4b. Since the glass substrate 1 descends along the inclined surface 4b of a gentle angle θ, the glass substrate 1 is led to a normal position and fitted at a precise position with ease. The back of the glass substrate 1 is mounted on a glass back supporting part 5 of the frame 3, and a bezel 7 is positioned on the front side of the frame 3 and the glass substrate 1. A front face plate part 8 is positioned on the front side of the glass substrate 1 and the frame 3 and the circumferential part 10 of the bezel 7 is positioned around the frame 3, and the glass substrate 1 is positioned for fixing by being held by the frame 3 and the bezel 7 in the upper and lower direction.
