向に連通するインキ導通穴が設けられたペン先チップ
と、インキを内蔵するインキ収納部と、前記ペン先チッ
プとインキ収納部とを繋ぐ接続部材を有し、該接続部材
にはインキ収納部とペン先チップとを連通する連通穴が
設けられ、当該連通穴内に弁座が設けられていると共に
当該弁座と当接する弁体が軸方向に移動可能に収納され
たボールペンにおいて、ペン先チップのインキ導通穴の
接続部材側開口近傍には、拡径部が設けられていて弁体
の一部あるいは全部がインキ導通穴内に移動可能であ
り、インキ導通穴内には弁体を係止すると共に弁体との
間にインキが通過する空隙部を形成する弁体係止部が設
けられ、ペン先チップを上向きに位置させた際には弁体
は弁座と当接してインキの逆流を阻止し、ペン先チップ
を下向きに位置させた場合には弁体は一部あるいは全部
がインキ導通穴内に移動して弁体係止部に係止され、空
隙部を経由して筆記用ボール側に流れることを特徴とす
るボールペン。
