Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely fix a battery lid, while reducing the number of part items without spoiling appearance by providing a lock member for locking a battery lid with an equipment body with the energizing force of an elastic member for energizing the force for lifting the battery lid from the equipment body via a battery and for releasing the engagement with the operation for pushing the battery lid, against the energizing force. SOLUTION: A battery box 3 formed of cusing bodies 1, 2 houses a battery 7, and has an elastic member 4 such as a plate spring, of which one part is notched and bent upward. Plural engaging recessed parts of a rail groove 9 of the lower case half-body 1 which is formed along the longitudinal direction of the battery box 3 and plural engaging projecting parts 10a of a slide piece 10 of the inner surface of a side bottom part of the battery lid 8 for covering an opening part corresponding to each other, so as to function as a lock member. Inside of a rail groove 11 of an upper case half-body 2 is formed with a slide piece 12 having a T-shaped cross section and engaged for preventing the fall-out at an edge of an upper side. Fixing of the battery lid 8 is secured, and a lock member for the battery lid having a double-lock structure becomes unnecessary.

2. Description of the Related Art For example, in a small portable electronic device typified by a pager or the like, the conventional battery storage structure generally employs a double lock structure for a battery cover, that is, the length of the case. The battery cover that slides in the side direction is fixed by a lock portion that slides in a direction perpendicular to the long side direction, thereby preventing the battery cover from sliding carelessly.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above problems, the present invention relates to a battery housing structure for housing a battery inside a housing, for example, applied to a portable electronic device such as a pager. On the other hand, for example, a detachable battery cover that slides along a rail portion or the like, and biases the battery cover to lift up from the housing via the battery.
For example, an elastic member such as a leaf spring portion, and a latching state in which the battery lid is locked to the housing by the urging force of the elastic member, and the battery lid is pressed against the urging force of the elastic member. The locking state is released by pushing the housing into the housing, for example, and a locking member having a meshing structure or the like is provided.

Here, as a housing having a battery storage structure,
A portable electronic device such as a pager may be used, but other device housings and devices may be used, and the size and shape of the battery cover are arbitrary. A typical example of the elastic member is a leaf spring provided at the bottom of the battery housing. However, any elastic member may be used as long as it urges the battery lid to lift from the housing via the battery. Furthermore, as a locking member,
An engagement structure provided on a rail portion on which the battery lid slides with respect to the housing may be mentioned, but another locking structure for preventing the battery lid from sliding when no pushing operation is performed may be used.

As described above, according to the present invention, the elastic member for urging the detachable battery cover sliding from the housing from the housing via the battery and the elastic member are provided with the elastic member. A locking member for locking the battery lid to the housing by the biasing force, and a locking member for releasing the locking state by pressing the battery lid against the housing against the biasing force of the elastic member; In the state where the battery cover is slid with respect to the housing, the elastic member urges the battery cover via the battery to lift the battery cover from the housing. Thereby, the battery lid is locked to the housing. Therefore, the battery lid can be securely fixed. When the battery lid is pushed into the housing against the urging force of the elastic member in the state where the battery cover is locked to the housing by the locking member, the housing by the locking member of the battery cover is operated. Since the locked state is released, the battery lid can be removed from the housing by sliding. In addition, since a lock member as in the case of the conventional battery storage structure in which the double lock structure is used for the battery lid is not necessary, the battery storage structure has
The number of parts is small, the size can be reduced, and the appearance is not impaired.

As described above, according to the battery housing structure of the present invention, when the battery cover is slid and attached to the housing, the elastic member floats up from the housing with respect to the battery cover via the battery. Since the force is applied, the battery lid is locked by the locking member to the housing, and the battery lid can be securely fixed. When the battery lid is pushed into the housing against the urging force of the elastic member in the state where the battery cover is locked to the housing by the locking member, the housing by the locking member of the battery cover is operated. Since the locked state is released, the battery lid can be slid and removed from the housing. Moreover, since a member of the lock portion is not necessary as in the case of the conventional battery housing structure in which the double lock structure is adopted for the battery lid, the battery housing structure has a small number of parts and can be downsized. And the advantage that the appearance is not spoiled.
