Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve effective protection by folding a thin plate of synthetic resin foam material having specific foam magnification and thickness as a protective member, fitting the plate in an interior finish square timber through an opening part and fusing inner corner parts at both bent parts. SOLUTION: Specific foam magnification and thickness are set for achieving bend performance, processability, adhesion performance, and necessary strength for protection for a thin plate 3 of polyolefinic synthetic resin foam material. In this case, the foam magnification is set at 1.5-50, the thickness is set at 1-10 mm, a protective sheet is placed on an interior finish square timber for protection, and this is fitted in the interior finish/square timber through an opening part 4. The interior finish square timber is thus doubly protected by the protective sheet such as polyolefinic synthetic resin foam sheet, and this protective cover 1. Installation is thus facilitated, irregularity, if any, on the interior finish square timber is absorbed by elastic deformation, stable installation conditions can be provided, and cutting, holing and notching works can be easily executed at site.

[0004] The protection by the hard synthetic resin molded product is difficult to stabilize the molded product if there are even a few projections. However, the molded product is hard, and it is difficult to form holes or cutouts to avoid the projections. If the width of the interior timber does not exactly match the width of the interior timber, there is a problem that it is likely to come off.
In addition, similarly, there is a problem that it takes time and effort to cut to adjust the length.

The architectural protective cover 1 is formed by bending a thin plate 3 made of a polyolefin-based synthetic resin foam into a U-shaped cross section, and is fitted into the interior square member 2 through an opening 4. The interior square 2 shown in FIG. 2 is a frame around the door, and is particularly stained and
The architectural protective cover 1 is mounted on a lower frame that is easily damaged. In addition, as the interior square member 2 protected by the architectural protective cover 1, besides the illustrated frame member around the door, for example, a sash for sliding doors and sliding doors, and a frame member around a sash window attachment portion can be cited. The target is the horizontal material on the floor side,
It is also possible to apply the architectural protective cover 1 to a vertical member.

Examples of the polyolefin-based synthetic resin include polyethylene, polypropylene, and a copolymer containing 50% by weight or more of polyethylene or polypropylene. The thin plate 3 made of the polyolefin-based synthetic resin foam is required to obtain bending property, workability in the field, adhesion to the interior square member 2 and strength required for protection.
It is necessary that the expansion ratio is 1.5 to 50 times and the thickness is 1 to 10 mm.
It is preferably 10 to 10 times, 1.5 mm in thickness, and more preferably 2 to 3 mm. If the expansion ratio exceeds 50 times, it will be too soft, easily damaged, and will not be easily folded. Conversely, if the expansion ratio is less than 1.5 times, it becomes too hard, and the adhesion to the interior square bar 2 and the workability in the field are reduced, and cracks are easily generated during bending. On the other hand, if the thickness exceeds 10 mm, the workability at the site is reduced, and the bending workability into a U-shaped cross section is reduced. Conversely, if the thickness is less than 1 mm, it is easily damaged,
Protection performance decreases.

The inside corners of both bent portions of the architectural protective cover 1 are fused portions 6. The polyolefin-based synthetic resin thin plate 3 can be bent as described above, but has elasticity at the same time. It is difficult to maintain the shape. This fused part 6
Is to prevent the two leg portions 5 of the architectural protective cover 1 from elastically expanding and maintain the U-shaped cross section.

Since the architectural protective cover 1 is made of a thin plate 3 made of an elastic polyolefin-based synthetic resin foam, some irregularities of the interior square bar 2 are absorbed by elastic deformation, so that a stable mounting state is obtained. Can be obtained. Also,
Since the thin plate 3 made of polyolefin-based synthetic resin foam has good workability, it can be easily cut, drilled, and cut out on site. Therefore, a fixed length product is carried into the site, cut at the site according to the length of the interior square bar 2, and when there is a large projection or the like in the mounting portion, a hole or a notch process is performed to avoid this. Can be easily mounted. In addition, since it has moderate bending properties and elasticity,
Even if the width of the interior timber 2 is slightly smaller than the width of the architectural protective cover 1, the two leg portions 5 of the architectural protective cover 1 are slightly tilted inward to reduce the width of the opening 4 before the architectural protective cover. 1 is fitted into the interior timber 2, and the interior timber 2 is
And a stable mounting state can be obtained. Conversely, even when the width of the interior timber 2 is slightly wide, the opening 4 can be widened by tilting the two legs 5 outward, so that the architectural protective cover 1 can be mounted.

The width (inner width) of the architectural protective cover 1 is preferably substantially equal to the width of the interior square bar 2 in order to obtain a stable mounting state. Can be. The height (inner height) of the leg portion 5 is equal to or less than the side surface height of the interior square bar 2, but is preferably 1 cm or more, more preferably 1.5 cm or more, in order to obtain a stable mounting state. It is.

The architectural protective cover 1 can be easily manufactured by bending as shown in FIGS. 3 (a) and 3 (b). First, as shown in FIG. 3A, for example, a hot wire 7 (for example, a nichrome wire heater or the like) is applied to both sides of one side of a thin plate 3 made of a polyolefin-based synthetic resin so that the hot wire 7 bites into the thin plate 3. Then, a part of the synthetic resin is melted to form a linear molten concave portion 8 whose peripheral surface is melted. After the formation of the linear molten concave portion 8, the molten resin is cooled along with the linear molten concave portion 8 until the molten synthetic resin is completely cooled and solidified.
Both sides of the thin plate 3 are bent, and the thin plate 3 is raised as shown in FIG. As a result, the linear fusion concave portion 8 is crushed, and the fusion portion 6 is formed at the inner corner portion.
The elastic return of the two leg portions 5 that have been raised is suppressed. In addition, the formation of the linear molten concave portion 8 can be performed by a hot blade in addition to the hot wire 7 as described above.

The protection by the architectural protective cover 1 is shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 4, the architectural protective cover 1 may be simply fitted directly into the interior square timber 2, but it is effective to use a protective sheet 9 together as shown in FIG. 4. That is,
It is preferable that a protective sheet 9 is laid on the interior square member 2, and the architectural protective cover 1 is fitted to the interior square member 2 from above through the opening 4. In this manner, the interior timber 2 can be double protected by the protection sheet 9 and the architectural protection cover 1.

The protective sheet 9 may be, for example, corrugated cardboard, newsprint, a synthetic resin sheet, or the like, but is most preferably a polyolefin-based synthetic resin foam sheet whose surface is less slippery and less likely to tear. When a polyolefin-based synthetic resin foam sheet is used as the protective sheet 9, the foaming ratio is 1.5 to 50 times, and the thickness is 1 to 10 mm in order to obtain good adhesion to the interior square material 2 and appropriate cushioning properties.

When the protective sheet 9 is used together, the architectural protective cover 1 does not need to be long enough to cover the entire surface of the protective sheet 9, and as shown in FIG. The protective sheet 9 may be attached at an interval so that the protective sheet 9 is pressed so as not to shift.

As shown in FIG. 6, if the width of the protective sheet 9 is set to be larger than the width of the interior square member 2, the side of the protective sheet 9 is located between the leg 5 and the side surface of the interior square member 2. By using the elasticity of the portion, the fitting force of the architectural protective cover 1 to the interior square bar 2 can be increased, and the mounting state can be further stabilized.
