2. Description of the Related Art In aerobic treatment in which pollutants are biologically treated by aerobic microorganisms, air is supplied from an air supply source such as a blower to a diffuser installed in an aerobic treatment tank and laid vertically downward. The air is supplied to the air diffuser through the air supply pipe, and the air is blown into the aerobic treatment tank through a number of small air ejection holes formed in the air diffuser to perform aeration.

[0003] In such a sewage treatment apparatus, the air ejection holes may be clogged by sludge or the like, and the air diffuser may not function properly. In such a case, maintenance for regularly cleaning the air ejection holes of the air diffuser with a brush or the like is performed. However, in order to do so, the air diffuser must be lifted out of the aerobic treatment tank, the air ejection holes must be cleaned, and then the air diffuser must be installed in the aerobic treatment tank again. There is a problem that it is extremely difficult.

Recently, in order to increase the efficiency of aeration,
A contact material to which aerobic microorganisms are attached is installed in an aerobic treatment tank, and a full-aeration type sewage treatment device in which a diffuser is installed below the contact material is used. In such a full-aeration type sewage treatment apparatus, since the diffuser is disposed directly below the contact material, mounting and removing the diffuser is more difficult. The volume of the device must be reduced.

Therefore, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 6-254586 discloses an air diffuser which facilitates loading and unloading of the aerobic treatment tank during such maintenance.
In this air diffuser, one end of the air diffuser is attached to the lower end of a vertical pipe (air supply pipe) via a solid joint so as to be rotatable around a horizontal axis, and the vertical pipe and the air diffuser are connected by a flexible tube. Air is supplied from the vertical pipe to the diffuser pipe through the flexible tube, and is blown out from the air blowout hole formed in the upper surface of the diffuser pipe into the aerobic treatment tank, where aeration is performed. Done.

However, when a flexible tube made of a synthetic resin is used particularly in a place such as the bottom of an aerobic treatment tank, the flexible tube is crushed by external pressure, pores are opened due to repeated bending, and a vertical tube is formed. And the connection with the air diffuser may be disconnected, resulting in air leakage. Further, the metal flexible tube has a problem that movement is restricted due to poor flexibility, rust or corrosion may be caused by sewage, and the cost is high.

Further, even in the case of an activated sludge system which does not use a contact material to which aerobic microorganisms are adhered, a membrane filtration device (membrane module) is installed on a diffuser to filter aerobic treated wastewater by membrane filtration. The use of sewage treatment equipment that filters by equipment is increasing, and even in this case, each time the air diffuser is installed and removed, the membrane filtration apparatus similarly interferes, and the air diffuser and the membrane itself are damaged. There's a problem.

(Comparative Example 2) With respect to a sewage treatment apparatus having the same structure as that of Comparative Example 1 except that a flexible tube made of tetrafluoroethylene was used, the production cost and the state of deterioration of the air diffuser one year after use were examined. Was. The manufacturing cost of the diffuser was about 250, which was 2.5 times that of the example. In addition, it was observed that there were two fine holes in the bent portion of the flexible tube, from which air leaked.

Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the specific configuration is not limited to the above, and the present invention includes design changes and the like without departing from the spirit of the present invention. For example, in the embodiment,
Although a rotary pipe joint having a union connection at only one end as shown in FIG. 4 was used, an expansion joint having a union connection at both ends may be used.

Since the sewage treatment apparatus of the present invention has the above-described structure, it is not necessary to use a flexible tube.
Opening of pores due to repeated bending, detachment from connection,
The air can be supplied to the air diffuser without causing rust and air leakage due to the cause. In addition, since the contact member can be pulled up from below or laid under the contact member without being in contact with the contact member, the contact member or the air diffuser is not damaged. Further, the production cost and maintenance cost are lower than when a flexible tube made of special resin or stainless steel is used.
