Method and apparatus for measuring the angular velocity of a rotating cylindrical shaft made of a conductive material
Technical field
The present invention provides a method and a sensor for non-contact measurement of the angular velocity of a rotating cylindrical shaft.
It relates to a device in the form of a sir. One condition in which the method works is that the shaft is made of conductive material.
Is Rukoto.
Determining or measuring the angular velocity of a rotating shaft is a common practice in most industrial applications.
This is a basic requirement. Thus, the shaft and the associated work machine
You may need to measure the angular velocity to set the desired rotational speed. another
The need may be related to the monitoring of the highest allowed angular velocity. Paper machine,
One condition for controlling a rolling mill or the like is a signal corresponding to the rotation speed of the included machine.
The magnitude or value in the shape of a signal, ie the magnitude in the form of the rotational speed of each shaft
That is, accessing values.
Background art
One of the most commonly existing angular velocity sensors is the so-called tachometer
The tachometer is a generator connected in some way to the axis of the machine in question.
You. In its simplest form, the tachometer is a DC generator, the DC generator
A signal proportional to the angular velocity is transferred.
Today, many industrial processes are controlled by digital means, so
Angular velocity sensors based on sensor technology are also becoming more and more common. this
With a sensor of this type, the number of pulses per revolution of the rotating shaft is obtained. That
By counting the pulses, the angular velocity can thus be measured. these
Pulse sensors may be based on magnetic, optical or other forms of pulse
.
Angular velocity sensors based on the principles described above have been
And was of a very simple nature in nature. Therefore, this
Reference to the state of the art is not considered necessary.
Disclosure of the invention
He belongs to classical electronics and has been informed for such a very long time.
One principle that has been used is that when a conductor moves in a magnetic field, a current flows through the conductor.
Is to be guided. These currents themselves create a magnetic field.
The device according to the invention and the device in the form of an angular velocity sensor provide a high rotational speed of the conductor.
We use this effect to achieve the potential for gaining
Use this effect to achieve the feasibility of obtaining the magnitude of shaft rotation speed if
I have.
As mentioned above, the starting point is the cylindrical shaft of the conductive material. The axis has a magnetic field line
Is directed at right angles to the axis so as to run in the cross-sectional plane of the axis perpendicular to the line of symmetry.
Should rotate in a homogeneous magnetic field. When the shaft rotates, the axial eddy current
It is guided to. In turn, as a result of these currents, a dipole-type magnetic field
With its components perpendicular to the axis, i.e. in the cross-sectional plane of the axis, and
Guided outside the axis, perpendicular to the initially applied magnetic field. The magnitude of this component rotates
Depends on the angular velocity of the axis, and thus can be used to measure this velocity.
it can. This means that the applied homogeneous magnetization field is either static or time
Is true regardless of whether it is a changing place.
The field for magnetisation is placed on a bobbin concentric with the axis and used in the embodiment used.
Achieved with the help of windings that are supplied with a constant, ie time-varying current, depending on
can do. Static magnetic field is also fixed to the yoke located outside the axis
Can be achieved with the help of permanent magnets. Perpendicular to the axis corresponding to the angular velocity of the axis
In the case of a time-varying magnetizing field to sense the magnitude of the above components,
A sensing winding disposed about an axis in the yoke may be used. Device is static
If the angular velocity component is based on a strong magnetic field,
Sir may be sensed. With the sensing winding in the yoke,
That is, the acceleration / deceleration may be measured.
The conductive cylindrical shaft need not necessarily be solid, it may be cylindrical,
Alternatively, it may be composed of a plurality of concentric layers.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
FIG. 1 shows a preferred embodiment of the sensor according to the invention.
FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of a wound coil included in the sensor.
Description of the preferred embodiment
The basic design of the preferred embodiment of the sensor according to the invention is evident from FIG.
The cylindrical conductive shaft 1 is concentrically surrounded by a bobbin 2, and the bobbin 2
Windings necessary to realize and sense. Straight to the axis
A homogeneous magnetic field 3 to be angularly directed is obtained with the aid of two excitation windings 4 and 5
ing. The induced magnetic field may be a component 6 perpendicular to both axes, and
The quality field is measured in a plane parallel to the homogeneous magnetic field and passing through the symmetry line 8 of the cylindrical axis.
7 may be detected. Connecting the device 9 to this winding
Allows one to read the angular velocity of the axis, and possibly the induced velocity
It may be used for the purpose described above. Preferably, the sensor is a shielding shell 1
It is surrounded by 0.
In the preferred embodiment, the windings are designed as virtually the same winding coils,
Is apparent from FIG. Clearly, the excitation winding contributes to the generation of a homogeneous magnetic field
4 are located on the generatrix for the bobbin, 4a and 4b, and
It has parts 4c and 4d placed around the bobbin. Excitation winding 5
The corresponding parts have the parts 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d. A homogeneous magnetic field
To obtain, the two excitation windings are paired on each side of the axis plane through the axis of symmetry 9.
Will be placed nomically.
In a corresponding manner, the measuring winding 7 is arranged on a portion 7a arranged on the busbar for the bobbin.
And 7b, and portions 7c and 7d disposed around the bobbin.
I have. Windings measure induced field components oriented perpendicular to a homogeneous magnetic field
Measurement site 7a placed on the bus to the bobbin
And 7b are located in a plane parallel to the homogeneous magnetic field and passing through the axis of symmetry 9;
It is fixed.
Shells made of materials with relatively high permeability and high resistivity are used
In the preferred embodiment, as can be seen from FIG. 1, an excitation winding placed on the busbar to the bobbin
The section of wire and measurement winding is to be placed, ie a 60 degree circular split
It is going to be put there. Thus, this means that the winding sections 4a and 4a
b and the angle between 5a and 5b is 120 degrees. Winding
The angle between the parts 7a and 7b is 180 degrees. It was in a position like a winding
In this case, the best magnetic homogeneity is obtained inside the bobbin and shell, and
A possible output signal is obtained from the measuring winding.
Make sure the fixed position of the winding with respect to the bobbin to facilitate winding work.
For realization, a circular flange with a slot 11 according to FIG.
Alternatively, a longitudinal flange provided as a bus bar may be provided.
Connecting the magnetizing current to the two excitation windings is, of course, a simple means,
Therefore, it is omitted so as not to impose the burden of FIG. The same goes for the measurement winding.
This is also true for terminals that can measure the induced voltage.
Within the scope of the present invention, there are alternative similar methods for applying the winding. For example,
The winding is formed in the fixture and then glued to the bobbin, otherwise the bobbin
It may be attached to. Thus, a flange is not required when using this method.
In addition, this simplifies bobbin production.
As mentioned above, if the windings are deployed in a 60 degree circular division, the maximum in the magnetic field
Excellent homogeneity is also obtained. If necessary for practical or other reasons,
Departure from optimal position with predominantly maintained field configuration
