Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 自由記録面(10)全面にわたって分布される情報データを記録するための基 本セルを有する感光層(1)を含み、感光層の各基本セルが、光屈折性物質で作ら れた単一モード光ファイバとして動作し得る導光ロッド(3)から構成され、前記 ロッドはその軸が実質的に自由記録面(10)に直角な方向に向いている光ディスク 等の大容量光メモリ。 2. 単一モード光ファイバとして動作し得る前記のロッドが、一ミクロンの範 囲の幅であり、また層の深さ全体に規則的なピッチで横断的に分布されていて、 更にそれらの各々が、光ビームの波長にコード化された情報データの干渉像を構 成する前記ロッド(3)の軸に沿って配置された重畳周期性成層のスタックにより 形成されるリップマン(Lippmann)の構造を登録することが出来ることを特徴とす る請求項1に記載の光データメモリ。 3. 前記単一モード導光ロッド(3)が、ホログラフ的プロセスを通して、光屈 折性物質の層を数条の平行ビームの照射に対して露出することにより、光屈折性 物質の中に配列されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のメモリシステ ム。 4. 前記感光層(1)が透明基板(2)上に支持されることを特徴とする請求項1か ら3のいずれかに記載のメモリ。 5. 前記導光ロッド(3)が、基板の表面にピットを彫ることにより、または母 型から成型することにより、更に、これらのピットを液状の光屈折性樹脂で満た し続いて固化することにより得られることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか に記載のメモリ。 6. 前記層のための前記物質が光誘起帯磁性を示す化合物を含むことを特徴と する請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のメモリ。 7. 前記光屈折性物質が光感光化剤から構成される光重合ポリマであることを 特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のメモリ。 8. 感光層が、同時にその層に向けられたコヒーレントなビームによる照明に 露出され、それによりそれらの干渉が、単一モード作動の導光ロッドのパターン を、前記の層の深さ全体にわたってホログラフ的に作る結果になることを特徴と する透明基板により支持された感光層を含む光型大容量メモリを製造するための 工程。 9. 前記感光層の厚さが50から1000ミクロンの範囲であることを特徴とする請 求項1から6のいずれかに記載のメモリ。 10. 前記データをリップマン構造の形で導光ロッド内に、感光物質の層を横切 って単一モード光ファイバのアレイを形成させて、記録することにより、書き込 みおよび読み取りが、前記各ロッド内に別々に向けられる多色ビームを用いて達 成されること、を特徴とする請求項1から7または9のいずれかに記載の、メモ リを利用するデータの書き込みおよび/または読み取りのための工程、特に請求 項8の製造工程を通じて得られるような工程。
