As described above, claims 1 to 3 of the present invention.
According to the rotary switch described above, each extending piece is inserted into each arc-shaped guide hole, and their retaining portions are slidably engaged with the periphery of each arc-shaped guide hole in a retaining shape. With this configuration, the switch operating portion is rotatably mounted on the switch main body between the positions where the extending pieces abut on both ends of the arc-shaped guide holes, respectively.
Other components such as a conventional retaining ring are not required, and the configuration is simple. In addition, when each extension piece is inserted into each arc-shaped guide hole, an escape recess for releasing the retaining portion at the tip thereof to a position where it does not interfere with the peripheral edge of each arc-shaped guide hole is formed in each arc-shaped. In the case where the switch operation portion is located at a position where the respective extension pieces are in contact with both end portions of each arc-shaped guide portion since the switch operation portion is formed at an intermediate position excluding both end portions thereof at the peripheral portion of the guide hole portion. In addition, each extension piece is bent and deformed so as to escape to each escape concave portion, so that the engagement between the retaining portion and the peripheral edge portion of the arc-shaped guide hole becomes difficult to release, and the switch operation portion is securely prevented from coming off here. The effect that it can be obtained is obtained.

Further, a tapered surface which is upwardly inclined toward the projecting direction of the retaining portion is formed on the lower surface side of each retaining portion, and each extending piece is formed in each arc-shaped guide hole. By inserting each tapered surface into contact with the peripheral edge of each arc-shaped guide hole when each is inserted into the portion, each of the extended pieces is flexibly deformed so as to escape into the escape recess, and each tapered surface is bent. When each extension piece is returned to its original shape at a position over the peripheral edge of each arc-shaped guide hole, and each retaining portion is engaged with the peripheral edge of each arc-shaped guide hole in a retaining shape, By pushing the distal end of the extension piece into contact with the peripheral edge of each arc-shaped guide hole, the switch operating part is attached to the switch main body, so that their assembly is facilitated.
