Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low light transmittance medium pressure sensitive adhesive sticker improving visibility through a smoke glass and having a high sticking characteristic and high re-covering workability while holding durability similar to that of a conventional sticker of which whole surface is coated with adhesive. SOLUTION: The pressure sensitive adhesive sticker has a supporting layer A, a printing layer B formed at least on one surface of the layer A and an adhesive layer C formed on the printing layer side and is characterized by forming the layer C only on the periphery of the layer A. Although an optional adhesive agent can be used for the layer C, an acrylic group adhesive agent is preferably used. Both of an emultion type and a solvent type can be used, and in the case of using the solvent type, an adhesive application area can be narrowed. The adhesive is applied not to the whole surface of one face of the sticker but only to the periphery of a pattern.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various stickers have been used for decorating glass surfaces such as trains, automobiles, and shop windows. In recent years, double-sided design stickers which have a printing layer on both sides of a base material and an adhesive layer on one side thereof and can be viewed not only from the side to which the base material is attached but also from the glass side have been put to practical use. For example, the door glass of a commuter train has a sticker from the outside, a notice on the outside design is printed for passengers trying to get in, and a commercial advertisement for passengers already on the inside is printed on the inside. I have. However, in recent years, the use of low-light-transmitting glass that absorbs ultraviolet light and / or infrared light has been increasing in expectation of effects such as heat insulation and prevention of sunburn. If a sticker with a double-sided design is used for such smoked glass, it is difficult to visually recognize the design of the sticker through the glass. As a result, the effectiveness of commercial advertisements in vehicles has been diminished. Therefore, there has been a demand for a sticker that can be visually recognized even through low light transmittance glass and that prevents the effect of the advertisement from being reduced.

Means for Solving the Problems As a result of intensive studies, the present inventors have found that visibility is significantly improved when a smooth air layer is provided between the medium and the sticker, and this situation is realized. As a means, they have found that a pressure-sensitive adhesive sticker having a partial pressure-sensitive adhesive layer only around the design solves the problem, and completed the present invention.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION The support layer (A) is required to have characteristics such as surface hardness, weather resistance, light-shielding property, and suitability for printing on the back surface, and synthetic paper having high light-shielding properties is used. Conceal Yupo (Oji Yuka Co., Ltd.) is particularly preferably used. Lamination processing may be performed to further increase the weather resistance of the surface. The printed surface on the back side can be subjected to surface processing in consideration of removability. The thickness of the layer varies slightly depending on the size of the finish,
When the thickness is larger than 200 microns, the flexibility is inferior. When the thickness is less than 100 microns, the rigidity at the time of the attaching operation is not sufficient. The surface shape of the layer may be a glossy surface or a matte surface.

The printing layer (B) is not particularly limited. In the case of a train or the like, it is necessary to stick it on the outside of the car, compared to the case of sticking it on the indoor side, such as a show window, and the outside printing layer is particularly required to have weather resistance. . Printing methods such as offset and screen are possible.

The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (C) may be any pressure-sensitive adhesive, and is preferably an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. Either an emulsion type or a solvent type can be used, but in the case of a solvent type, the pressure-sensitive adhesive applied surface can be narrowed. Apply the adhesive only around the design, not the entire surface of one side of the sticker.

As can be seen from the test results, even if the same base material and the same pattern are used, the sticker provided with the adhesive on the entire surface, whereas the sticker provided with the adhesive only on the periphery, that is, between the glass and the sticker printing layer It can be seen that the sticker according to the present invention having a smooth air layer has a remarkable effect on visibility through smoked glass. In particular, the use of a solvent-type pressure-sensitive adhesive can narrow the pressure-sensitive adhesive applied portion, and has an effect of minimizing the effect of the pressure-sensitive adhesive applied portion on the design.
