Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust an engine to an appropriate oil-feeding state and to realize an appropriate oil-feeding regardless an installing place by attaching a level finder through which a person can watch a liquid surface of a stored oil in an oil reservoir to one side wall of the oil reservoir and indicating an upper limit level mark on the level finder or a neighborhood thereto coincident with an upper limit level when the engine is in an appropriate oil-feeding state. SOLUTION: A finder 43 through which a person can watch a liquid surface of a stored oil 16 in an oil reservoir 14 is provided on a side wall opposed to an oil- feeding port 40 of the oil reservoir 14 of an engine and an upper limit level mark coincident with an upper limit level is indicated on the finder 43 or a periphery portion thereof when the engine is an appropriate oil-feeding state. When an oil is supplied to the oil reservoir 14, a person can watch a liquid surface of the oil 16 in the oil reservoir 14 from the level finder 43 opposed to the oil supplying port 40 and if the liquid surface is coincident with the upper limit level mark, the engine is in the appropriate oil-feeding state and as a result, the oil-feeding is carried out to a predetermined upper limit level. When the liquid surface is not coincident with the upper limit lever mark, the state of the engine is slightly adjusted to make the liquid surface coincident with the upper limit level mark.

When oil is supplied to the oil reservoir of an engine having such an oil level gauge structure, the oil is supplied from the oil supply port to the oil reservoir while the engine is held in an appropriate lubrication position. If the refueling is finished just before the injected oil overflows from the filler port, it means that the oil reservoir has been refilled to the specified upper limit level. However, depending on the location of the engine, it may be difficult to give the engine a proper refueling position. If refueling is performed with the engine tilted, the amount of oil stored in the oil reservoir may be too large. , Too little, which is not desirable.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to achieve the above object, the present invention relates to an oil supply port provided on one side wall of an oil reservoir of an engine. In the oil level gauge structure of the engine, the rim is arranged so as to coincide with the upper limit level of the oil storage amount in the oil reservoir, and an oil cap is fitted to the oil supply port. A level finder which can see through the liquid level of the stored oil is provided, and an upper limit level mark which coincides with the upper limit level when the engine is in an appropriate refueling position is displayed on the level finder or a periphery thereof. .

[0006] According to this feature, at the time of oil supply from the oil supply port to the oil reservoir, the oil level in the oil reservoir seen from the level finder rises just before the oil injected into the oil reservoir overflows from the oil supply port. Fine-tune the attitude of the engine so that it matches the upper limit level mark. This makes it possible to easily and accurately refuel the oil reservoir up to a specified upper limit level regardless of the inclination of the engine installation location.

Oil is injected from the oil supply port 40 into the oil reservoir 14. Then, before the oil injected into the oil reservoir 14 overflows from the oil supply port 40, the oil supply is temporarily stopped. At this time, refueling port 40
The liquid level of the oil 16 in the oil reservoir 14 is seen through the level finder 43 on the opposite side from the above, and if the liquid level matches the upper limit level mark A, the engine E is in a proper lubrication position. This means that refueling has been performed to the specified upper limit level.

However, when the ground G on which the power trimmer T is placed is inclined, the oil level as seen from the level finder 43 does not match the upper limit level, and comes above or below it. In such a case, the power trimmer T, that is, the attitude of the engine E is finely adjusted, and the oil sump 14 is adjusted.
Immediately before the oil in the tank overflows from the oil supply port 40, the oil level seen from the level finder 43 is made to coincide with the upper limit level. Thus, regardless of the inclination of the ground G where the power trimmer T is installed, it is possible to easily and accurately refuel the oil reservoir 14 up to the prescribed upper limit level.

As described above, according to the present invention, the oil supply port provided on one side wall of the oil reservoir of the engine is connected to the lower edge of the oil supply port when the engine is in an appropriate oil supply position. In the engine oil level gauge structure, which is arranged so as to match the upper limit level of the oil storage amount and an oil cap is fitted to this oil supply port, the level of the stored oil inside the oil storage chamber is A see-through level finder is attached, and an upper limit level mark that matches the upper limit level is displayed on the level finder or its surroundings when the engine is in an appropriate refueling position. Before the oil injected into the sump overflows from the oil supply port, the engine position is fine-tuned so that the oil level in the sump seen from the level finder matches the upper limit level mark. Cormorants, by a very simple operation, inclined irrespective of the location of the engine, to the oil reservoir chamber, facilitating oil supply to the upper limit level defined, can be accurately performed.
