Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long handle which allows to ladle chestnuts dropped on the ground and peel the chestnut cases without needing a bending posture. SOLUTION: This long handle 3 has a ladle 4 at one edge and spatula 1 at the other edge, the former for ladling out the chestnuts and the latter for peeling their cases. This handle/ladle set allows ladling and peeling works without needing a bending posture, dispensing with picking-up and catching works needed by the conventional device, reducing fatigue of the worker, improving working efficiency and preventing diseases, e.g. lumbago, talipes and bent loin.
