Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily hold a sheet-like conductive passage without abutting on a surface of the sheet-like conduit. SOLUTION: A housing recessed part 11 of a housing 10 is formed with a pair of elastic pushing pieces 13 (temporarily holding means) extended like a cantilever along both of a right and a left end surfaces. When a sheet-like conduit S is inserted into the housing recessed part 11, the elastic pressing piece 13 elastically abuts on both side edges of the insertion end of the sheet-like conduit S so as to temporarily hold the sheet-like conduit S in the condition that the sheet-like conduit S is pinched in the cross direction. Since the elastic pressing piece 13 is arranged in side of the sheet-like conduit S, height thereof in the thickness direction of the sheet-like conduit S is restricted.

Since the elastic holding piece elastically contacts the surface of the sheet-like conductive path, the elastic holding piece is held in the housing in the thickness direction of the sheet-like conductive path. A space for the piece and a space for bending the elastic holding piece are required. Therefore, there is a problem that the sheet-like conductive path becomes bulky in the thickness direction.

The lock member 30 is made of a synthetic resin, and includes a flat plate portion 31 that can be inserted into the accommodation recess 11 and a housing 10.
And a pair of locking arms 32 that cantileverly project along both outer surfaces of the arm. The thickness of the flat plate portion 31 is
1 is set such that the thickness of the sheet-like conductive path S superimposed on the contact arm 21 is larger than the distance between the elastic contact piece 21 of the terminal fitting 20 and the mounting arm 22. Further, the flat plate portion 31 is inserted into the housing recess 11 so as to overlap the lower surface of the sheet-shaped conductive path S. In this state, the upper half portion of the flat plate portion 31 and the lower half portion of the elastic pressing piece 13 are viewed from the side. They overlap (see FIG. 7). Further, the width dimension of the flat plate portion 31 is set slightly larger than the width dimension of the sheet-like conductive path S (see FIG. 4). At the tip of the locking arm 32, an inward locking claw 32A is formed. The locking claw 32 </ b> A can be engaged with the temporary locking protrusion 14 and the final locking protrusion 15 formed on the outer surface of the housing 10. In a state in which the locking claw 32A is engaged so as to be sandwiched between the temporary locking protrusion 14 and the main locking protrusion 15, the lock member 30 causes the flat plate portion 31 to stand by outside the housing recess 11 and moves to the housing recess 11. The sheet-like conductive path S is temporarily locked at a release position allowing insertion / removal (see FIGS. 1, 2, and 6). When the lock member 30 is pushed toward the housing 10 from this state, the locking claws 32 are pushed.
A engages with the main locking projection 15, and the locking member 30 is locked at a locking position where the flat plate portion 31 is inserted into the housing recess 11 (see FIGS. 3 and 7). The left and right side edges of the flat plate portion 31 are elastically pressed pieces 1 when inserted into the accommodation recess 11.
The release portion 33 is engaged with the third pressing protrusion 13A. Since the width of the flat plate portion 31 is larger than the interval between the pressing protrusions 13A, when the release portion 33 is engaged with the pressing protrusion 13A, the elastic pressing piece 13 is elastically bent so as to be pushed open.

Next, the operation of the present embodiment will be described. When attaching the sheet-like conductive path S to the housing 10, the lock member 30 is locked in the release position (see FIG. 1), and the connection end of the sheet-like conductive path S is inserted into the accommodation recess 11. Then, the pressing protrusion 13A is engaged so as to elastically sandwich the side edge of the sheet-like conductive path S from right and left, and the elastic pressing piece 13 is elastically bent outward. Due to the elastic restoring force of the elastic pressing piece 13, friction occurs between the pressing protrusion 13A and the sheet-like conductive path S, and the friction causes the sheet-like conductive path S
The play in the insertion direction and the removal direction is restricted. That is,
The sheet-like conductive path S is temporarily held in the housing 10 (see FIGS. 2 and 6). Thereafter, the lock member 30 is displaced to the lock position. Then, the flat plate portion 31 is sunk below the sheet-like conductive path S so that the accommodation recess 1 is formed.
1, the sheet-shaped conductive path S is pushed up by the flat plate portion 31 and elastically contacts the elastic contact piece 21 (see FIG. 7). At this time, the release portions 3 on both side edges of the flat plate portion 31 are provided.
3 engages with the pressing projection 13A to elastically bend the elastic pressing piece 13 outward, so that the pressing projection 13A is separated from the sheet-shaped conductive path S, and the temporary holding on the sheet-shaped conductive path S is released (FIG. 4). See).

As described above, in the present embodiment, the elastic pressing piece 13 serving as a means for temporarily holding the sheet-shaped conductive path S is provided.
Are not disposed on the surface side of the sheet-shaped conductive path S, but are disposed on the side of the sheet-shaped conductive path S, so that the thickness direction of the sheet-shaped conductive path S (up and down in FIGS. Direction) is not bulky. In addition, the elastic pressing piece 13
Since the elastic pressing piece 13 is elastically brought into contact with the side edge of the sheet-shaped conductive path S so as not to be brought into contact with the surface side of the sheet-shaped conductive path S, and is pressed in the width direction, the sheet-shaped conductive path S There is no danger that the conductive path Sb on the surface of the surface will be scraped by the elastic pressing piece 13. Further, since the sheet-shaped conductive path S is sandwiched from both the left and right sides by the pair of elastic pressing pieces 13, even when the sheet-shaped conductive path S receives an external force from either the left or right side, the elastic pressing piece 13 is elastic. Escape left and right while bending. Therefore, there is no possibility that excessive stress is generated in the sheet-shaped conductive path S. Also, if the external force stops working,
The sheet-like conductive path S is generated by the elastic restoring force of the elastic pressing piece 13.
Is returned to a predetermined position, and the conductive path Sb comes to correspond to the terminal fitting 20. Further, since the pressing projection 13A is formed in an arc shape, it is prevented that both ends of the front edge of the sheet-shaped conductive path S abut against each other, thereby hindering insertion. When the lock member 30 is displaced to the lock position to stop the sheet-like conductive path S from being pulled out, the release portion 33
Is displaced outward to release the sheet-like conductive path S from the temporary holding state, thereby preventing the sheet-like conductive path S from being deformed due to the elastic pressing piece 13 continuing to press.
