（１）と、このギヤ被覆部（３）に取付ける自転車本体
のクランク軸（７）のボス部（８）に固定された取付具
（９）とを備え、前記ギヤ被覆部（３）に取付具（９）
に取付けるための取付孔（２２）を有し、前記取付具
（９）に、前記取付孔（２２）に対応するねじ孔（２
１）を有した取付部（２０）が形成されたものであっ
て、前記ギヤ被覆部（３）を取付具（９）を介して取付
ける自転車用半面チェーンケースの取付け方法におい
て、 前記半面チェーンケース（１）のギヤ被覆部（３）に、
前記取付孔（２２）とねじ孔（２１）とを容易に合致さ
せる位置決め体（２４）を設け、この位置決め体（２
４）と取付具（９）の取付部（２０）とを当接させて、
取付孔（２２）とねじ孔（２１）とを合致させ、その合
致させた孔（２１）、（２２）に固定ねじ（２６）でね
じ止めして、半面チェーンケース（１）が取付けられる
ことを特徴とする自転車用半面チェーンケースの取付方
