【産業上の利用分野】従来、風呂場、シャワー室等の一
次排水口は、一般的には目の細かい金網と、これを押さ
えるプラスチック製の更に目の粗い押さえが使用されて
いる。しかし、押さえは目が粗いため大きなゴミ以外は
効果なく、金網も十分とはいえないため、かなりのゴミ
が捕獲されずに排水パイプへ流れてしまう。また、金網
に捕らえられた髪の毛やゴミ、石けん滓等を手で取り除
く作業が不可欠であるが、不潔である。なお台所の流し
のゴミ受けには、ビニール製の網が用いられており、同
じ発想でこれを円形金網にかぶせる方法も考えられる。
しかしかぶせるのが面倒であるのと、取り外しも面倒で
ある。また金網が一部浮き上がり、完全捕捉は難しい。2. るものがあり、より多くのサイズに適用できることも必
要である。このような問題を解決するためにメッシュに
固定用の杭又は突起をつけたシートを考案した。具体的
には図1に示すように、押さえや金網のサイズよりもや
や大きいサイズにメッシュシートを切り(1)中心より
偏った位置に杭又は突起(2)をつけ、金網用には他方
に切り込み(3)を入れる。ここでメッシュシートは、
プラスチック製、例えばポリエチレン、ポリプロピレ
ン、塩ビ、ポリ塩化ビニリデン、ナイロン等の化学繊維
でメッシュになったもの、或いはアルミ、スチール等の
適度に細い金属線材をメッシュにしたもの、或いは紙製
でメッシュにしたもの等が用いられる。メッシュは径1
mm程度〜5mm程度までを水量を考慮して選ぶ、大き
な目のメッシュと小さな目のメッシュを重ねた2重構造
でも良い。偏った位置の杭とは、杭が中心にあるとメッ
シュが水圧でめくれるため、一方の端に近くする。杭は
水圧で流されないよう、且つ装着、脱着時に掴めるよう
ある程度の強度と太さが要求される。太さは押さえ又は
金網の目に容易に入る太さがよい。長さは2〜4cmが
良い。杭の材質は例えば釘のような金属をメッシュの穴
に通し金網の目に通しても良い。これはメッシュと杭が
別個の場合であるが、一体でも良い。メッシュと杭は材
質が異なっていても同じであっても、杭という役割が果
たせれば良いので何れであっても良い。突起についても
同じである。杭は排水口でいえば、水が流入する手前側
となるよう位置にて押さえ又は金網に差し込みメッシュ
が流れないように止める働きをする。金網の場合は、杭
とは反対部分に切り込みを入れると、メッシュが金網よ
り大きくても、切り込みによる柔軟性のため、メッシュ
上部にメッシュ全体を良く止めることができる。何とな
れば、メッシュが金網上部の壁で折れ曲がり、その反作
用により流れないようにするためと考えられる。プラス
チック製の杭又は突起はとれにくくするため、柔らかめ
のヒゲをつけるとより効果が増す。メッシュの大きさ
が、金網とほぼ同じ大きさの場合は切り込みは不要であ
る。また、杭又は突起は一本である必要はなく、強度は
弱くても複数にすれば良く、その突起が押さえの目又は
金網に引っかかる方式でも良い。(以上、杭式ゴミ捕捉
器という)。次に金網専用として、杭を用いずメッシュ
の外周もしくはメッシュ自体に強度をもたせ且つ径を金
網と同じにするものも考案した。金網の収まっているく
ぼみ径と同じ径で、且つ、強度があるので水圧で押し曲
がることはない。更にメッシュと同等の厚みにするので
水圧で水がメッシュの下に流れ込み、ゴミが捕捉されな
いことが起こらない。メッシュと、強度のある外周とは
同一材質であっても良いし異なっても良い。なお、本方
式の欠点は、金網とそれの入っているくぼみとがほぼ同
じ径でなければならない点にある。しかもその径は数種
類有るため、同じ径に使用者が切り取るのでは面倒なた
め使用されることはない。そこで本発明では、図2に示
すように、大、中、小の3種類のメッシュが1枚のシー
トから手で切り放せる方式を考案した。この方式に要求
されるメッシュの材質はポリ塩化ビニリデンのようにも
ろいプラスチックか、撥水処理した紙等でなければなら

金網上にそのままとどまった。またバスタブの水栓を抜
いても、良くとどまった。髪の毛と石けん滓、その他の
ゴミをほぼ完全に捕捉し、4人家族、2日使用で表面が
埋まったので、杭頭を手で掴み、ゴミ箱に捨てた。本実
施例において、4人家族においてわずか2日間で、メッ
シュが完全に埋まるほど、ゴミが排出されていることが
分かった。従来の金網ではその1/3も捕捉できないと
