Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing the leakage of the hazardous material included in refuse from a refuse depot into the ground. SOLUTION: The entire part of the front surface of a mound M of the refuse in the refuse depot, such as open stock yard, is covered with a waterproof cover 1 to prevent the infiltration of rainwater and to put the inside of the mound of the refuse into a dry state, by which the elution of the hazardous material included in the refuse into the water is prevented. In addition, the moisture and water are sucked into the refuse from the inside of the ground by the sucking up of the steam by the steam percolation pressure induced by a moisture difference between the mound M of the refuse and the ground surface G and the sucking up of the water by the capillarity occurring in the difference in the moisture content between the mound of the refuse and the ground surface, by which the stream of the water heading toward the mound M of the refuse from the inside of the ground is created and the generation of the stream of the hazardous material included in the refuse from the mound of the refuse into the ground is prevented. The leakage of the hazardous material into the ground is thus completely prevented.

2. Description of the Related Art Garbage is increasing everywhere in the country every year, but there is no place to store garbage. The reason for this is that the management of the garbage can hardly be done, causing environmental problems in various places, and the consent of the local residents about the establishment of the garbage can not be obtained. The environmental problems include pollution of groundwater, generation of odor, generation of toxic gas and destruction of landscape.

As shown in FIG. 5 (thick arrows in the figure indicate the direction of water flow), harmful substances such as heavy metals contained in the garbage are contaminated by rainwater falling on the garbage pile. It melts and pools (water pool P shown in FIG. 5), which penetrates underground and mixes with groundwater.
Also, when the surface of the garbage pile gets wet with rainwater, the water strongly penetrates into the garbage pile by capillary action,
A phenomenon occurs in which the gas inside the pile of garbage that is trapped is compressed and the pressure rises. When harmful substances dissolve in water and exist above the ground, they are strongly pushed underground due to the pressure of the gas inside the pile of garbage. This harmful substance pollutes groundwater and soil. If there is a well in a nearby private house H, the well water W is contaminated.

Normally, as a countermeasure, a water leakage prevention treatment such as a waterproof sheeting, a concrete sheeting K, and a waterproof sheeting is applied on the concrete sheeting. However, even if it is intended to be completely treated, the waterproof function will be impaired due to seams, tears, cracks, etc., and it will be avoided that the material used will deteriorate with the passage of time and the loss of the waterproof function will increase. I can't. Due to the pressure of the gas generated inside the refuse mountain, leakage of harmful substances may occur even if the rupture or crack is extremely small.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6 (the thin arrows in the figure indicate the direction in which the odor or toxic gas flows), the odor or toxic gas is generated in the garbage pile in the presence of moisture. It is generated by the spoilage of the garbage (the spoiled layer F of the garbage shown in FIG. 6) or the chemical reaction of the contaminant being promoted under a high temperature state caused by heat of fermentation. The reaction of various chemical substances causes volatilization, ignition, and smoke of the petrochemical raw material product. In addition, a strong odor is generated depending on the type of garbage, and the number of inhabitants who can not live near the garbage storage area and abandon the house H and escape to other areas is increasing.
There are also phenomena in which real estate as property and land prices are falling because the garbage storage is nearby. When ignited, the petrochemicals contained in the garbage are chemically transformed into harmful gases and harmful chemicals. Once the harmful chemicals are formed in the garbage, there are few effective countermeasures at present.

[0006] In addition, if there is garbage, birds such as crows, small animals such as rats, and insects such as flies gather or generate from the garbage, which is extremely unsanitary. Large piles of garbage can ruin the landscape if the garbage is left bare, making the viewer uncomfortable. If such a state is left forever, the surrounding residents will feel at risk of life, and become anxious just by being aware of the existence of the garbage dump. At present, no one in the area has responded effectively to such problems, and the residents of the area have opposed the establishment of garbage depots.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a waterproof sheet, a concrete, and a water leakage preventing treatment such as a waterproof sheet on a concrete. Hazardous substances contained in garbage in garbage yards where the garbage pile is covered with a waterproof cover or roof to prevent rainwater from entering and the inside of the garbage pile is kept dry. To prevent water from dissolving in water and to absorb water vapor due to water vapor osmotic pressure caused by the difference in humidity between the garbage pile and the ground, and water absorption by capillary action due to the difference in water content between the garbage pile and the ground. By sucking moisture and moisture from inside into the garbage mountain or into the upper part of the garbage, a flow of water from the ground to the garbage mountain is created, and from the garbage mountain of harmful substances contained in the garbage Causing a flow into the ground A dust yard, characterized in that to allow completely prevent leakage into the ground of hazardous substances as not to.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below. According to the first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a hole is dug in the ground G, and a concrete floor K (FIG. 2) for preventing piles (FIG. 1) or preventing water leakage. The entire top surface of the refuse pile M dumped into the hole is covered with a waterproof cover or a roof 1 to prevent rainwater from entering, and the inside of the refuse pile M is dried to remove harmful substances contained in the refuse. As well as water uptake due to the osmotic pressure of water vapor generated due to the humidity difference between the refuse mountain M and the ground G, and water generated by the capillary action due to the difference in water content between the garbage mountain M and the ground G. By sucking moisture and moisture from the ground into the garbage mountain or the upper part of the garbage by suction, a flow of water from the ground to the garbage mountain is created (thick arrow in the figure), Of harmful substances contained in garbage M
To prevent harmful substances from leaking into the ground by preventing the flow of water from flowing into the ground.

In order to positively dry the inside of the refuse pile M, it is preferable to increase the evaporation of water from the surface of the refuse pile M. As a method thereof, air (wind) may be sent to the inside of a cover such as a waterproof cover or a roof 1, and moisture taken into the air may be discharged. If no foul odor or toxic gas is contained, it is advisable to increase the gap between the waterproof cover or the roof 1 and the surface of the garbage pile M so that natural wind can be taken in.

Further, according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, by providing a deodorizing means, it is possible to prevent a bad odor from being diffused into the atmosphere by removing a bad odor generated from a pile of garbage. The present invention has been described above.Even if garbage contains harmful substances, it is possible to prevent leakage into the ground, prevent generation of odors and toxic gases, and furthermore, generate odors and toxic gases around. Detoxification treatment can be performed without diffusion. By covering the garbage pile with a camouflage color, such as a waterproof sheet or a roof, the local scenery can be protected. The garbage pile is covered with a waterproof sheet or roof, so crows cannot enter and there is no worry about garbage being scattered.

In the case of a water leakage prevention treatment such as a waterproof sheet floor, a concrete floor, and a waterproof sheet stretch on the concrete floor, the environment of the groundwater and the air is not limited even if the garbage is in a piled state. There is no need to worry about contamination, and the residents in the area around the garbage can feel safe. Although the garbage itself is not lost, the present invention is considered to be very useful as a temporary measure until the garbage is recognized as a dangerous substance and a valid waste disposal method can be created in the future.
