Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take off a cover of inspection pipe for a drainage basin. SOLUTION: A pedestal 3 is mounted to the central part of the upper surface of a cover 1 through recess sections 4, an indication board 6 facing the recess sections 4 is mounted to the pedestal 3, and facing parts of the indication board 6 to the recess sections 4 are used for handholds for removing the cover 1. By this constitution, there is no need to have any handhold separately, since structural stress concentration hardly occurs by the handholds, the cover can be taken off without being damaged accordingly.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a lid of a check tube of a drainage basin, for example.

The drainage basin is located at the junction of domestic drainage and sewage mains, and is buried underground.
A check tube is connected from the ground to check and clean the drainage basin. The upper end of the inspection cylinder opens to the ground surface, and a lid is attached to the opening. [Claims] 1. A lid for an inspection cylinder, wherein a pedestal is provided at the center of the upper surface of the lid via a concave portion, and a display plate projecting into the concave portion is attached to the pedestal.
