【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 分水栓が螺着されている分水栓サドルに
より挟持された配水用ポリエチレン管を前記分水管の通
水口から挿入された穿孔用ホルソで穿孔する際に前記穿
孔用ホルソ内に残留する切粉体を除去する方法であっ
て、前記穿孔用ホルソは、先端の開口側に設けられる切
刃と前記開口側に開口する深穴および溝と前記深穴内に
連通するねじ孔とを形成する中空パイプ状のホルソと、
該ホルソの外周を囲繞して固着されるガイドパイプと、
前記ホルソのねじ孔に螺着すると共に駆動部に連結する
シャンクとから構成され、前記切刃による前記配水用ポ
リエチレン管の穿孔によって発生して前記ホルソの深穴
内に収納された切粉体を除去する場合には、前記シャン
クを前記ホルソから取り外し、前記ホルソのねじ孔に押
し出し具のねじ部を螺合し、該押し出し具の先端を前記
切粉体に当接して更に該ねじ部を前記深穴内に押し込む
ことにより該深穴内の切粉体を押し出し除去することを
