Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a cable connected to the terminal metal piece from a terminal metal piece in dismantling a vehicle. SOLUTION: This terminal metal piece formed by stamping a conductive metal sheet and bending it has a shape, in which a board part connected to an electrical contact part 11 is bent from its both sides, in order to form an almost cylindrical cable connecting part 12 with an opening at its tip having on its upper side and in its axial direction a slit 14 formed by a gap between its both end rims, and many thorny protuberances 15 are protruded from an inside perimeter surface of the cylindrical cable connecting part 12. The cable is fixed by inserting the cable in the cable connecting part and sticking the thorny protuberances 15 into an insulating coating. When removing the cable, it is removed by pulling the cable to open the slit 14.

When the terminal fitting 1 is caulked and fixed to the electric wire 2 by a press, there is an advantage that the electric wire and the terminal fitting are not easily separated because the terminal fixing force is excellent. However, when the vehicle body is dismantled, if the terminal fitting and the electric wire are to be separately collected and recycled, the terminal fitting and the electric wire cannot be easily separated, and the electric wire is cut off from the terminal fitting and separated. ing. Therefore, the electric wire remains in the terminal fitting, and the terminal fitting cannot be recycled.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a connection structure between the terminal fitting and the electric wire according to the first or second aspect, wherein the end of the core exposed from the end of the electric wire is welded. The wire is inserted into the wire connecting portion of the terminal fitting, the core wire is brought into contact with the substrate portion, and the barbed projection is hooked on an insulating coating continuous with the core wire to connect with the wire. When separating the metal fittings and the electric wire, by providing a connection structure between the terminal metal fitting and the electric wire, the electric wire can be detached from the electric wire connecting portion by pulling the electric wire diagonally upward in a direction to push and spread the slit. I have.

As described above, when connecting the terminal fitting and the electric wire, it is only necessary to insert the electric wire into the electric wire connecting portion of the terminal fitting, and it is not necessary to press with a press machine as in the prior art, and the connection work is eliminated. It's easy. In addition, the spliced projection of the inner peripheral surface of the wire connecting portion of the connected wire cuts into the insulation coating of the wire, so that even if an external pulling force is applied to the wire in the axial direction by the external force, the wire is connected to the wire connecting portion. It does not come off, and the connection can be reliably maintained. In particular, if the barb is projected in the direction opposite to the insertion side of the wire,
The insertion of the electric wire is further facilitated, and the holding force on the electric wire can be increased.

On the other hand, when it is necessary to separate the electric wire from the terminal fitting when disassembling the car, the electric wire is not pulled in the axial direction but is pulled obliquely upward, so that the slit provided on the upper surface of the terminal fitting pushes and spreads. The wire can be pulled out.

In the above-mentioned connection state, the terminal fitting 20 is inserted into the mounting hole 11a of the electrical contact portion 11 as shown in FIG.
Is inserted into a mounting hole 31a formed in the vehicle body panel 31, and is fixed to the vehicle body panel 31 by fastening with a nut 32, and the electric wire is grounded. In this fixed state, even if the pull-out force in the axial direction of the electric wire 20 as shown by the arrow is carelessly applied to the electric wire 20, the barbed projection 15 is inclined in the direction opposite to the direction in which the pull-out force acts. In addition, the barbed projection 15 does not come off from the insulating coating 21 of the electric wire 20, so that the electric wire 20 can be prevented from detaching from the terminal fitting 10.

On the other hand, when it is necessary to separate the terminal fitting 10 and the electric wire 20 at the time of dismantling the car, as shown in FIG. 7A, the electric wire 20 pushes the slit 14 on the upper surface of the electric wire connection portion 12 so as to spread. Pull diagonally upward. By the pulling of the electric wire, the slit 14 is pushed out from the opening 12d side as shown in FIGS. 7B and 7C. As described above, when the electric wire 20 is taken out while opening the slit 14, the barbed projection 15 can be easily pulled out from the insulating coating 21, and the electric wire 20 can be separated from the terminal fitting 10.

2. A flat shape in which both side edges of the electric wire connection portion are projected so as to be bonded to the outside with a gap therebetween, and the electric contact portion side of the electric wire connection portion is inclined to be close to the substrate portion. The barbed projections are made to protrude over the entire inner peripheral surface of the electric wire connection portion, and the barbed protrusions are made to protrude at a right angle from the inner peripheral surface or in a direction opposite to the wire insertion side. The terminal fitting described in.

3. A connection structure between a terminal fitting and an electric wire according to claim 1 or 2, wherein a tip end of a core wire exposed from an end of the electric wire is welded, and the electric wire is connected to the terminal fitting. Inserting the wire into the wire connection, contacting the core wire with the substrate and hooking the barbed projection on the insulating coating continuous with the core wire to connect to the wire, while separating the terminal and the wire, A connection structure between a terminal fitting and an electric wire, wherein the electric wire is pulled obliquely upward in a direction in which the slit is pushed open so that the electric wire can be removed from the electric wire connection portion.
