Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electric continuity between a resistor and a conductor due to the migration of the conductor accompanied by reduction in the edge surface distance between the resistor and the conductor as it becomes miniaturized. SOLUTION: In this electrical component, a first flat surface 5b and a second flat surface 5d formed in a stepped manner by providing a step portion 5c from the first flat surface 5b are provided on a rotator 5, and conduction patterns P are provided on the first flat surface 5b and the second flat surface 5d, respectively, so as to enable increase in the edge surface distance between the conduction patterns P. Thus, the continuity between the conduction patterns P due to migration can be prevented, and the electrical component can be provided which is suitable as it becomes miniaturized.

However, in the conventional rotary electric component, the resistor 32a and the conductor 32b are arranged side by side on the flat surface of the insulating substrate 31, and as the size of the resistor decreases, the resistor 32a becomes smaller. In the case where the edge distance between the conductor 32b and the conductor 32b is reduced, the resistor 32a and the conductor 32b are short-circuited due to the migration of the conductor 32b, or when the gap between the two is reduced for downsizing. In addition, there is a problem in that the resistor 32a and the conductor 32b are short-circuited due to printing misalignment. Further, a stopper portion 39 of a mounting plate 39 protruding from the outer periphery of the insulating substrate 31.
Since the stopper is constituted by a and the stopper portion 37 of the rotating member 34, there is a problem that the stopper becomes larger in the radial direction and becomes larger.

According to the rotary electric component of the present invention, the rotating body 5 has a first flat surface 5b and a second flat surface 5d formed stepwise by providing a step 5c from the first flat surface 5b. Provided, first
Since the conductive pattern P is provided on each of the flat surface 5b and the second flat surface 5d, the edge surface distance between the conductive patterns P can be increased, and conduction between the conductive patterns P due to migration can be prevented. Rotary electrical components can be provided. Further, by providing the step portion 5c, the space between the conductive patterns P can be narrowed in the radial direction, and a small rotary electric component can be provided. Further, since the stopper portion 5f is formed by providing a convex portion projecting from the second flat surface 5d at the end of the arc-shaped step portion 5c, the stopper is formed within the outer shape of the rotating body 5, that is, within the formation of the conductive pattern P. Configurable,
It is possible to provide a compact rotary electric component having a simple structure. In addition, since the inclined portion 5e is provided in the step portion 5c and the connection conductors 9 formed in the inclined portion 5e connect the conductive patterns P to each other, the connection conductor 9 can be securely attached to the step portion 5c, and the size is reduced. In addition, it is possible to provide a rotary electric component having a good connection state. Further, by forming the rotating body 5 from a ceramic material, heat or a change with time is smaller than that of a conventional synthetic resin, the influence on the conductive pattern P is small, and an accurate electric component can be obtained. This is effective in a variable resistor using the resistor 6. Further, the contact member 3 is attached to the insulating base 1.
At the same time, the terminal 2 and the shaft portion 2b are integrally formed from a single metal plate and attached to the insulating base 1.
Since the resistor 6 provided on the rotating body 5 is brought into contact with the contact member 3, it is possible to provide a rotary electric component as a variable resistor that is small, has a small number of components, and has good productivity.
