Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable folding a wheelchair while a seat mat is fitted to a seat sheet by providing a cut part from an upper edge part to a lower edge part along the folding direction of the seat sheet in the seat mat which is laid on the seat sheet of the wheelchair and joining the lower edge part of the cut part by means of a hinge part. SOLUTION: The cut part 2 is arranged in the seat mat 1 which is laid on the seat sheet 6 of the wheelchair being freely foldable in a wheelchair width direction from the upper edge part to the lower edge part along the folding direction of the seat sheet 6. Besides, the seat mat 1 is divided into a pair of left and right mat members 1a and 1b with the cut part 2 as a boundary and the members 1a and 1b are connected by a hinge 3 which is arranged in the lower edges of the cut part 2. Holders 4 and 4 are disposed in lower edges in the both end parts of the respective mat members 1a and 1b and strings 5 for fitting the mat 1 to the both end parts of the seat sheet are fitted to the respective holders 4. Then, the strings 5 are tied-up to the both end parts of the seat sheet 6 in the wheelchair and the seat mat 1 is fixed to the seat sheet 6.
