【発明の実施の形態】以下に本発明の実施例を図１〜図
４により説明する。図１は本発明の１実施例のディスク
カートリッジの構造について説明した図である。ディス
クカートリッジ１ａには記録／再生装置が記録／再生す
るためにディスク４にアクセスする開口部が設けてあ
る。ディスクカートリッジ１ａが記録／再生装置外にあ
るときはディスク４に塵芥等が付着するのを防ぐために
シャッタ３ａが開口部を覆っており、シャッタ３ａはシ
ャッタバネ２により閉じる方向に付勢されている。シャ
ッタ３ａが配置された面と対向する部分にはディスクカ
ートリッジ１ａに対して取り外し可能なディスクホルダ
５が配置されている。ディスクホルダ５は係止爪６が係
止穴７とはめあって取り付けられており、ディスクホル
ダ５を取り外すときには係止穴７から係止爪６をはずす
ことで係止が解除される。ディスクホルダ５にはディス
ク４を保持するホルダアーム１０ａ、１０ｂが取り付け
られているが、ディスクホルダ５がディスクカートリッ
ジ１ａに取り付けられた状態ではアーム規制部材１１
ａ、１１ｂに接触してディスク４の保持を解除する方向
に弾性変形している。またホルダアーム１０ａとホルダ
アーム１０ｂは左右で形状が異なり、本実施例ではホル
ダアーム１０ａの先端の鋭角部分を取り除いた形状にな
っている。そしてこの形状に合わせてアーム規制部材１
１ａは形成されている。このようにホルダアーム１０
ａ、１０ｂの形状を左右で異なるように形成することで
ディスクホルダ５を取り付ける際に表裏逆に挿入するこ
とを防ぐことが出来る。つまり本実施例の場合、ディス
クホルダ５を表裏逆に挿入しようとするとホルダアーム
１０ｂの先端がアーム規制部材１１ａに接触し、ディス
クホルダ５を完全に挿入できない。本実施例ではアーム
ホルダ１０ａ、１０ｂとアーム規制部材１１ａ、１１ｂ
を左右非対称にすることで逆挿入を防止しているがこれ
に限ることなく、例えばディスクホルダの左右一方のみ
に凹凸を設け、その形状にはめあう形状をディスクカー
トリッジの一方に配置する方法で逆挿入を防止しても良

９をはずすことで係止は解除され開口可能になる。ディ
スク４の移動は、ディスク挿脱口１２ｂにディスク４を
保持したディスクホルダ５を挿入しディスク挿脱口開閉
部材８ｂを閉じることで行い、この動作によりディスク
４に直接触れることなくディスクカートリッジ１ｂ内に
移動が完了する。図４はディスクカートリッジ１ｂにデ
ィスク４を取り付けた状態を示した図である。ディスク
