明のカラーカメラ玄関子機1の構成は、太陽光の強さが

ガラス13cがカラーフィルターユニット13内に挿入
された構成であって、図1に示すように、グレー色調光
平面ガラス13cはレンズユニット13と光学ローパス
フィルター13dの間に挿入されており太陽光が色フィ
ルター14aに到達する以前に通過する様に構成されて
いる。またグレー色調光平面ガラス13cは図1に示す
ような平面形状をしており、レンズユニット13の収束
光に影響が少ない形状でかつグレー色の調光ガラスを採
用したため光の波長に影響が少なく撮像画面の色特性に
影響を与えない様になっている。本発明のカラーカメラ
玄関子機の動作を以下に説明する。夜間は周りが暗いた
めグレー色調光平面ガラス13cを通過する光が弱くグ
レー色調光平面ガラス13cはほぼ透明の状態になって
おり減光しない、この状態ではカラーフィルターユニッ
ト13によって撮像感度は低下しない。また、日中は徐
々に周りが明るくなるためグレー色調光平面ガラス13
cを通過する光が強くなるに従いグレー色調光平面ガラ
ス13cの濃度が増し十分減光されるため、強い太陽光
がカラーCCD撮像素子14の色フィルター14aにあ
たらない様にできるので待受時も動作時も色フィルター
14aの焼付きを完全に防ぐことが出来る。ただし、急
激に強い太陽光があたった場合はグレー色調光平面ガラ
ス13cの濃度がそれに追従出来ないが屋外に設置され
るカラーカメラ玄関子機ではその様なことはない。

いためのカメラカバーにも利用できる。
