Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a convenient clock which can be viewed from many directions by providing a plurality of time indicating dials. SOLUTION: Time can be indicated by an arbitrary known method, e.g. analog indication with hands, analog indication with hands using a liquid crystal, and digital indication using a liquid crystal. An arbitrary known power source can be employed including a mechanical unit employing a spring, an AC synchronous motor, and a battery driven quarts oscillator. The power supply can be provided for each of a plurality of time indicating dials. In case of a mechanical unit, front and rear time indicating planes can be driven simultaneously from a single power supply using drive gears, and the like. In case of a liquid crystal, time can be indicated on more than one dial using a single power supply.
