Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install a pump barrel piping without any large heavy gear by elevating a string connection side of the pump barrel piping by a string of an elevating/lowering device to be mounted on a roof of a storage tank, and erecting the pump barrel piping from an approximately horizontal condition to a perpendicular condition. SOLUTION: When installation of a pump barrel piping suspension frame 13 is completed, a wire rope 16 is delivered from an electric hoist 14, the wire rope 16 is suspended in a storage tank 3 through a dummy piping 15, and its lower end is connected to a tip approximately immediately below the dummy piping 15 of a pump barrel piping 2 which is preliminarily formed on an inner tank bottom plate 9. The wire rope 16 is wound by the electric hoist 14, and the pump barrel piping 2 is gradually raised. The pump barrel piping 2 is erected in a perpendicular condition below the dummy piping 15 so as to be mounted on a truck 17. The pump barrel piping 2 is supported by an inner tank side plate 8 which a support member, a short upper pump barrel piping is inserted, and the lower end of the piping is welded to an upper end of the pump barrel piping 2.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a lifting apparatus mounted on a roof of a storage tank by connecting a plurality of pump barrel short pipes in series in a substantially horizontal state on a bottom plate in the storage tank to form a pump barrel pipe. The string is connected to the lower end of the elevating device of the pump barrel piping, and the end of the pump barrel piping to which the string is not connected is supported by the bottom plate. By raising the object, the connecting side of the string-like object of the pump barrel pipe is raised, and the pump barrel pipe is erected from a substantially horizontal state to a vertical state.

1. A pump barrel pipe is formed by connecting a plurality of pump barrel short pipes in series in a substantially horizontal state on a bottom plate in a storage tank, and a string of an elevating device mounted on a roof of the storage tank is connected to the pump barrel pipe. The pump is connected to the lower end of the elevating device, and the pump is lifted by raising the string in a state in which the end of the pump barrel pipe to which the string is not connected is supported on the bottom plate side. A method for installing a pump barrel pipe, comprising raising a string connecting side of the barrel pipe to erect the pump barrel pipe from a substantially horizontal state to a vertical state.
