Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring out a large effect in guide to an evacuation route at an emergency in a hospital, a home for the aged, etc., by lighting lamps or making lamps flicker from one end side of a handrail body to the other end one after another. SOLUTION: The handrail is provided with a plurality of lamps 3a-3f embedded along the longitudinal direction of the handrail body 2 to emit red rays. Electric cables are inserted in the inside of the stay and connected to an electric source through a controller. The handrail functions useally as a safe foot light in a continuously lighting state at night. The handrail is ordinally equipped on a wall face of a corridor of a hospital at such a height that a patient having a trouble in his leg can support his body, for instance. In case of a fire in the hospital, the function of the handrail 1 is changed over from a safe foot light mode to an evacuation guide lamp mode and all lamps 3a-3f are turned off and thereafter, the lamps 3a-3f are turned on one after another at every time lag. And hence, the direction to an emergency exit to take refuge in an emergency can be clearly shown.

Generally, an evacuation guidance device is provided in a building so that evacuation can be performed smoothly in an emergency such as a fire. This is usually installed on the ceiling of a corridor or the like, and serves to indicate the direction of the emergency exit. By the way, these evacuation guidance devices are also installed in hospitals and nursing homes, etc., but those who have mental and physical handicaps accommodated in these facilities receive sufficient evacuation training. Not.
For this reason, in an emergency, existing evacuation guidance devices are often not very useful.

That is, according to the present invention, by illuminating (or blinking) a plurality of light emitting means in order, a situation is created as if a light spot is traveling, whereby a direction to be evacuated in an emergency, that is, an emergency exit. It indicates the direction in which it exists. Therefore, even a person who has not received sufficient evacuation training and is accommodated in a hospital or a nursing home can immediately know the direction to evacuate. Therefore, the handrail according to the present invention is very effective for evacuation route guidance in an emergency.

In FIG. 1, the handrail of this embodiment, indicated by 1, is installed on a wall of a corridor of a hospital, for example, as can be seen from FIG. The height from the floor is the same as that of a conventional handrail, and is usually used by a patient who has a problem with a leg or the like to support his or her body. The handrail 1 includes a handrail main body 2 made of wood, plastic, or the like, and a total of six lamps (light emitting means) 3 a to 3 f provided along the longitudinal direction of the handrail main body 2. Of which lamp 3
As can be seen from FIG. 2, a to 3 f are mostly embedded in the handrail main body 2. In the present embodiment, lamps that emit red light are used as the lamps 3a to 3f.

The handrail 1 is attached to a wall surface by a stay 4. Therefore, the electric wires connected to the lamps 3 a to 3 f pass through the inside of the stay 4. Lamp 3
a to 3f are connected to the power supply device 6 via the control device 5. The handrail 1 of the present embodiment exerts an evacuation guidance function in an emergency, as will be described later, by the operation of the control device 5, but it is in a continuous lighting state at night in normal times and functions as a foot light.

Next, the light emission pattern of the handrail 1 will be described with reference to FIG. When a fire occurs in the hospital, the control device 5 is operated immediately, and the function of the handrail 1 is switched from the foot light mode to the evacuation guidance light mode.
Then, all the lamps 3a to 3f are temporarily turned off, and thereafter, only the lamp 3a is first turned on [FIG.
(A) state]. When the lamp 3a is turned on, the lamp 3b is turned on with a slight delay [the state of FIG. 3B]. Further, regarding the lamp 3c, the lamp 3a and the lamp 3
As in the case of the relation b, the lamp 3b is turned on slightly after the lighting of the lamp 3b (the state shown in FIG. 3C). After this, the lamp 3d
3f are also illuminated with a time lag like the lamps 3b and 3c.

That is, in the handrail 1 of the present embodiment, the lamps 3a to 3f are turned on in order from one end of the handrail main body 2 to the other end (in a direction to be evacuated). This is repeated while the controller 5 sets the evacuation guidance light mode. Therefore, in the corridor in the hospital, a situation is created as if a light spot is running, and the direction to be evacuated in an emergency, that is, the direction in which the emergency exit is present is shown very clearly. Therefore, even a person who has not received sufficient evacuation training, such as a hospitalized patient, can immediately know the direction to be evacuated, and as a result, emergency evacuation is performed smoothly.

The light emitting pattern of the handrail 1 may be in the form shown in FIG. 4 in addition to the above. More specifically, when this light emission pattern is employed, when the function of the handrail 1 is switched from the foot light mode to the evacuation guidance light mode, all of the lamps 3a to 3f are turned off once, and thereafter, the lamp 3a is first turned off. Only the light is turned on (the state shown in FIG. 4D). When the lamp 3a is turned on, the lamp 3b is turned on with a slight delay, but at the same time, the lamp 3a is turned off (the state of FIG. 4E). Further, the lamp 3c is also turned on with a slight delay after the lamp 3b is turned on, similarly to the relationship between the lamps 3a and 3b. At the same time, the lamp 3b is turned off (the state shown in FIG. 4F). Thereafter, the lamps 3d to 3f also blink with a temporal shift, similarly to the lamps 3b and 3c. That is, in the light emitting pattern shown in FIG.
To 3f blink in order from one end of the handrail body 2 to the other end (toward the direction in which evacuation is to be performed). While you are, it will be repeated.
