2. Description of the Related Art Cylindrical knitted fabrics such as socks and tights having a toe portion formed in a bag shape from the arch of a foot are generally manufactured by a circular knitting machine having a cylinder or a flat knitting machine having a pair of front and rear needle beds. Be organized. By the way, when forming a tubular knitted fabric having these toe portions with a circular knitting machine, it is particularly difficult to bind off the toe portions, and in tights or the like, knit one side at a time and connect them by sewing. However, there is a problem that it takes time and effort, productivity is low, and manufacturing cost is high.

[0003] Therefore, these disadvantages can be solved by knitting with a so-called "flat knitting machine" provided with a plate-shaped needle bed at the front and back. For example, when knitting a sock, which is an example of a tubular knitted fabric, with a flat knitting machine, the knitting yarn is fed in a circular shape over the front and rear needle beds to form a tubular knitted fabric. When the toe is formed with approximately the same number of loops from the mouth to the vicinity of the toe, the toe is treated with a protruding eye etc. so as to be symmetrical about the middle finger part, and the constriction such as an ankle or arch is formed. , A rubber thread was inserted, and the knitting structure was changed from sheet knitting to rib knitting.

However, rubber knitting is performed by inserting a rubber thread into a tube knitted with approximately the same number of loops from the wearing mouth to the vicinity of the toe, or a knitting structure is formed from a sheet knitting to a rib knitting to form a constriction. In this case, there is a limit to the contraction, so that there is a problem that the foot does not fit well on the ups and downs.

If the number of loops is determined on the basis of the shape of the constricted portion so as to fit the constricted portion, the knitted fabric is difficult to stretch in the so-called "five-body" on the toe side, resulting in poor comfort. However, there is a problem that the wale is opened, the appearance is impaired, and the commercial value is reduced.

Therefore, the number of loops is increased by increasing the number of loops by increasing the number of loops by dividing the loop at the portion where the needle bed changes from the front to the rear needle bed or from the rear to the previous needle bed.
It is also considered that the number of loops is increased / decreased by reducing the number of overlapping partial loops, thereby changing the inner diameter of the sock.

However, in such a device, in a portion where the yarn feeding direction of the knitting yarn is different, a loop of a "crossover yarn" portion that changes from a front to a rear needle bed or from a rear to a front needle bed is moved back and forth. In addition, there has been a problem that the loop of the portion is elongated to generate a so-called "eyelet", which lowers the commercial value.

Further, since the toe side end is formed symmetrically with respect to the middle finger portion, the knitted fabric is loose on the short little finger side, and the tip of the thumb or forefinger is pressed to impair the comfort. There was also the problem of getting lost. Then, this invention is proposed in order to solve the said problem, and it aims at providing the sock which fits the shape of a foot moderately, and also looks beautiful.

As shown in FIG. 2, the sock 1 is set up by using a total of 80 knitting needles of 40 needles in each of the front and rear needle beds of the flat knitting machine, and the foot insertion opening 2 is set up.
The knitting of the foot insertion opening 2 is performed by a rib knit into which a rubber thread is inserted and which has high elasticity. Next, knit from the foot insertion port 2 to the ankle 4 through the calf 3
In the vicinity of the ankle part 4, the knitting needles of the needle bed before and after the flat knitting machine are knitted in a predetermined knitting course in a knitting course inward from the end part which is knitted in a cylindrical shape and inward from the seventh loop part. Each time, the stitches are moved inward so that the total number of stitches can be reduced by two on one side, that is, a total of four stitches, and gradually squeezed until the diameter of the tubular knitted fabric becomes 68, thereby forming a small-diameter ankle portion 4.

When the knitting needles become 68 ankle portions 4,
Next, in order to form the ankle part 5, the loop of the part reduced from the above is split and the knitting needle used is increased until the number of knitting needles becomes 76. After the ankle portion 5 is knitted, the knitting needle of the front needle bed knitting on the front side of the foot is stopped at the heel portion 6, and the knitting needle of the rear needle bed on the heel portion 6 side (back side) is put on. When the knitting yarn is supplied, the knitting width is once reduced to a predetermined width in a state where both end portions are tacked, and then the knitting width is returned again, the bulging portion of the heel portion 6 is knitted here. .

Then, the partition wall 10 is formed by the knitting yarn 12 extending over the knitting needles 13 and 14. In the sock 1 having the partition wall 10 formed in this manner, the partition wall 10 can prevent the adjacent fingers from contacting each other and prevent stuffiness. FIG. 7 shows an example in which two partition walls 10 are formed to form a separation member insertion bag 19 for inserting a separation member (not shown) for separating adjacent fingers therebetween. In the sock 1, since the fingers are held open by the separating member, the sock 1 has an effect of preventing stuffiness and also has an effect of preventing hallux valgus.

As described above, according to the present invention, with reference to the loop of the arch part of the tubular knitted fabric of the toe portion of a sock or the like, the loop is increased in the five torso portion,
Furthermore, from the increased portion of the loop to the toe, it is formed with an inclined portion in which the loop is gradually reduced from the little finger side toward the thumb or forefinger, so that the shape from the arch to the toe portion is a silhouette of the foot of the portion. Since it is formed along the side, it has an advantage that it fits comfortably on the foot, is comfortable to wear, does not open the wale unlike the conventional case, has a beautiful appearance, and can significantly improve the commercial value.

Further, the loop of the tubular knitted fabric at the toe portion of a sock or the like is increased or decreased by a loop other than the portion where the knitting yarn is transferred from the front to the rear needle bed or from the rear to the front needle bed. For example, the "eyelet" as in the case where the increasing or decreasing portion of the loop is performed by a "crossover" portion that changes from the front to the rear needle bed or from the rear to the previous needle bed.
There is also an advantage that the commercial value of the sock can be further improved without producing the sock.
