According to the present invention, there is provided a connecting joint for connecting an underground pipe to a connecting portion such as a handhole or a manhole. A first tubular member to be fixed, and a second tubular member externally fitted and fixed to the tip of the underground pipe, and the first tubular member and the second tubular member are configured to be able to be fitted and inserted. After the insertion of the first and second cylindrical members, a ring member for preventing movement of the first and second cylindrical members toward the fitting / removing side is provided inside the first or second cylindrical member, The second cylindrical member or the first cylindrical member to be inserted into the ring member is configured such that the insertion distal end portion is tapered toward the distal end side,
A connection joint was formed on the inner surface of the ring member by forming an inclined guide surface that is positioned outward as it approaches the cylindrical member insertion end. Therefore, by inserting the other tubular member, the second tubular member, or the first tubular member into the one tubular member, the first tubular member, or the second tubular member, the two are fitted together, and the one tubular member is inserted. The movement of the other cylindrical member to the fitting / removing side can be reliably prevented by the retaining function of the ring member provided in the above. In addition, when the two tubular members are fitted together, the tapered insertion distal end slides smoothly along the inclined guide surface of the ring member, so that the tubular member can be moved to the retaining position with a light operating force.

The underground pipe connecting side end of the second cylindrical member is provided with a groove capable of housing an O-ring, and the underground pipe can be screwed into the second cylindrical member including the O-ring. At the same time, by configuring the groove so that the diameter becomes smaller toward the first cylinder member, the underground pipe can be fixed to the second cylinder member only by screwing the underground pipe into the second cylinder member. At the same time, the sealing process can be completed. Moreover, when the underground pipe is screwed into the second tubular member, the distance between the O-ring and the groove becomes narrower, so that the fixing force and the sealing force increase at the tip of the underground pipe.

According to the first aspect, since the two can be connected only by inserting the other cylindrical member into the one cylindrical member, the connecting portion can be compared with the conventional screwing method. Not only can the underground pipes be connected easily and quickly, but also water does not enter the inside loosely, and can be used well over a long period of time.
Moreover, after the two are connected, it is possible to reliably prevent the two from being disengaged by the contact action of the contact portion. In addition, when inserting the tubular member, the tubular member can be inserted with a small operation force by using the inclined guide surface, and the operability can be improved.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the simple remodeling in which only the unevenness is formed on the outer surface of the first cylindrical member, and the inward movement of the first cylindrical member to the inside of the connecting portion is ensured by utilizing the unevenness. The first cylindrical member can be used for a long time in a good state without detachment of the first cylindrical member.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the provision of the accommodating portion allows the second cylinder member to be moved relative to the first cylinder member even when a pulling force or a pushing force acts on the second cylinder member due to uneven settlement or an earthquake. The force can be absorbed by the sliding of the member, and the connecting portion of the tubular member is not damaged.

According to the fourth aspect, it is possible to fix the underground pipe to the second tubular member only by screwing the underground pipe into the second tubular member, and to complete the sealing process. For example, when screwing an underground pipe into which a seal member is externally fitted into a second cylindrical member, it is difficult to fit the seal member externally, and the operator can change the position where the underground pipe is completely screwed into the second cylindrical member by an operator. Can be reliably avoided. Moreover, when the underground pipe is screwed into the second tubular member, the fixing force and the sealing force increase at the tip of the underground pipe, so that the sealing performance can be increased stepwise to improve the sealing performance. There are advantages that can be done.
