Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display stopping alarm and message without enlarging area of a luminescent part furthermore, by placing a hologram for diffracting reflected light from selected reflective film for reflecting a part of a light flux toward the rear of a vehicle as message information for a driver in a rear vehicle. SOLUTION: A hologram 5 records a given pattern image, and, when a light flux reflecting on reflective film 4b is irradiated to the hologram 5, reflects and diffracts this flux to project the given pattern image backward. The hologram 5 is created by irradiating a light flux from a light exposing source to one surface of a hologram lightsensitive material through a mask body having a light transmitting part corresponding to message information during exposure, and by irradiating a light flux from the light exposing source to the other surface. A light flux having diffusiveness is used to widen angle of visibility of a regenerated image, and to reduce contrast, fuziness, and distortion of the regenerated image. Various design indication and message indication other than stopping alarm information can be displayed together with the stopping alarm indication without enlarging area of a luminescent part.

However, in the case of a brake lamp or the like located above a normal bumper, when the snow falls, the brake lamp or the like is hidden by the snow and cannot be seen from a vehicle behind. It is difficult to determine the lighting display of the brake lamp of a passenger car ahead of the vehicle traveling on the road, and it is also difficult to determine the lighting display because a vehicle width lamp and the like are lit at night. .

[0005] This is because the light-emitting portion serving as a warning light is located at a relatively high position, so that the light-emitting portion is not easily hidden by snow even when snow falls, and the safety is high. Very useful because of the benefits. Conventional HMSLs include those in which a light source is placed behind a rear seat in a passenger car, and those in which a point light source (eg, an LED) is arranged linearly in a rear spoiler.

In these HMSLs, there has been a strong demand for various designs for display and an increase in the area of the light emitting portion. However, if the area of the light emitting section is too large, the view behind the driver of the vehicle is obstructed. There was a difficult problem. In particular, when various designs and messages are to be separately displayed, it is necessary to further increase the area of the light emitting unit, and it has been difficult to achieve both the stop warning display and the message display.

A predetermined pattern image is recorded on the hologram 5 used here. That is, when the light beam reflected by the reflection film 4b is applied to the hologram 5, the light beam is reflected and diffracted, and a predetermined pattern image is projected behind. Such a hologram is irradiated with an exposure light beam from an exposure light source through a mask body having a light-transmitting portion corresponding to message information on one surface of the hologram photosensitive material at the time of exposure, and the other surface is exposed to an exposure light source. [0013] Further, after using a light-shielding mask having a light-shielding portion having a predetermined pattern shape to expose a portion of the hologram photosensitive material other than the predetermined pattern shape with a light beam having no coherence to form a partial photosensitive hologram. It can be manufactured by irradiating a coherent exposure light beam from an exposure light source. By converting one of these exposure light beams into a light beam having a diffusive property (e.g., obtained by disposing a transmission type diffusion plate between an exposure light source and a hologram photosensitive material),
This is preferable because the viewing angle of the reproduced image is widened and the contrast, blur, and distortion of the reproduced image are reduced.

As the hologram photosensitive material, various materials such as acrylic or carbazole photopolymer, gelatin dichromate, silver salt and the like can be used. A film-like photopolymer material is preferable from the viewpoint of easy handling. As the cover 6b, a colored or colorless glass plate or a transparent resin plate is used. In order to reduce the image blur (chromatic aberration) of the hologram, it is preferable that the color tone is the same as the reproduction wavelength of the hologram. Also, by giving a curvature, it is possible to prevent pseudo lighting in which external light enters the lamp. Furthermore, it is also effective to use a direction-selective light shielding plate such as a louver.

The reflecting film 4b is formed of a metal (Cr, Al, Ti) that transmits part of the light beam from the light emitting means and reflects part of the light beam.
Etc.) A half mirror type such as a film is exemplified. Alternatively, a selective transmission dielectric film that transmits light having a wavelength other than the same wavelength as the hologram reproduction wavelength and reflects only light having the same wavelength as the hologram reproduction wavelength can be employed.
Thereby, of the light beams reflected by the reflection film 4b and applied to the hologram, an excess light beam which is not diffracted toward the rear of the vehicle by the hologram can be eliminated, which is preferable. Further, the reflectance can be selected in consideration of the light emission luminance of the lamp. The reflectance can be generally used at 20 to 80%, but is preferably 30 to 60% for practical use. Further, a second hologram that reflects only a light beam having the same wavelength as the reproduction wavelength of the hologram toward the hologram can be used.

The hologram is usually used while held on a substrate. In this case, the end of the substrate is held by the housing and is erected from the housing. When the hologram to be used is a reflection hologram, the hologram is arranged at a position where the light flux from the reflection film 4b can be reflected and irradiated toward the rear of the vehicle. On the other hand, when the hologram is a transmission hologram, the hologram is disposed at a position where the light beam from the reflection film 4b can be transmitted and diffracted and irradiated toward the rear of the vehicle.

In this way, in synchronism with the driver's braking operation, the lamp 2 is turned on and a part of the emitted light beam passes through the reflective film 4b and the red filter, and provides stop warning information to the rear of the vehicle. (The function of HMSL). The luminous flux partially reflected by the reflection film 4b irradiates the hologram, is reflected and diffracted, and provides message information to the rear of the vehicle in synchronization with the braking operation of the driver. As a hologram, for example, light having a wavelength of 510 nm at an incident angle of 50 ° is reflected and diffracted at an angle of 0 °.
Characters and warning marks can be displayed in blue-green by using a hologram having an optical characteristic that reflects and diffracts light. As a configuration in which the message information is not displayed simultaneously with the stop warning information, the lamps can be individually turned on by changing the lighting location of the lamp or by providing an internal shutter function.

According to the present invention, H for displaying a stop warning is displayed.
A hologram is erected on the MSL, the light from the light emitting means is split, and one is used as stop warning information, and the other is irradiated on the hologram as message information, so various design displays and message displays other than stop warning information can be displayed. Thus, it is possible to obtain a vehicle warning lamp that can be displayed while being compatible with the stop warning display without increasing the area of the light emitting unit.
