When deodorizing NH 3 or the like with a microorganism deodorizing device, individually separated ammonium oxidizing bacteria or nitrite oxidizing bacteria are cultured and immobilized on the microorganism deodorizing device. However, these ammonia-oxidizing bacteria and nitrite-chlorinating bacteria require a habituation period and grow very slowly, so that there is a problem that a sufficient deodorizing ability cannot be obtained for a long period after the operation of the apparatus. In addition, even if these bacteria are immobilized on the microorganism deodorizing device, the odor of ammonia alone can be deodorized, but other odor components such as phenol and cresol cannot be deodorized. There is also a problem that there is no deodorizing ability. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method for operating a microorganism deodorizing apparatus capable of quickly growing microorganisms suitable for odor components and obtaining sufficient deodorizing ability from the beginning. I do.

As the odor to be deodorized by microorganisms in the present invention, those containing ammonia, phenol, and cresol are typically exemplified. Complex odor containing these components,
For example, it occurs in compost facilities and foundries. In addition,
In the present invention, the odor to be treated is not limited to those exemplified above, and other single or combined odors can be naturally treated. As described above, the microorganisms that decompose the odor are collected from soil or drainage near the source of the odor. The collection place is arbitrary as long as it is near the source, but it is desirable to collect from a place where the odor is likely to come into contact. If microorganisms are collected at the above-mentioned collection place, microorganisms suitable for the odor component grow in the place by contact with the actual odor, and it is possible to easily cope with deodorization of the complex odor.

Culture in a suitable medium prior to fixation. As the medium, glucose or pyruvic acid (5 mM or less), NH 4 + , C
Those containing a 2+ , Mg 2+ , Fe 2+ and PO 4 2- are most suitable. Thereby, not only ammonia-oxidizing bacteria and nitrite-oxidizing bacteria that decompose ammonia, but also microorganisms such as aromatic decomposers that decompose phenol and cresol can be satisfactorily grown. The medium may contain other components other than the above, but each of the above components is an essential component as a nutrient source for culture. In addition, the concentration of each component is not particularly limited in the present invention, and can be appropriately determined according to, for example, the type and concentration of the odor component. When culturing using the above medium, 20
It is desirable to carry out at a temperature of の 40 ° C. and a pH of 7〜8. The microorganisms sufficiently cultured in this way are fixed to a microorganism deodorizing device for deodorizing.

The invention is not limited to a specific method for immobilizing microorganisms. In a deodorizing device in which microorganisms are immobilized, an odor is introduced as in the conventional case, and the odor components are decomposed by the microorganisms. However, in this deodorizing device, microorganisms are collected from the vicinity of the odor source and appropriate cultivation is performed. Therefore, the odor can be satisfactorily decomposed from the beginning of operation. Good deodorization is achieved by a plurality of microorganisms adapted to the odor.

m 3 and 5 m 3 of the culture solution obtained by the comparative method were sprayed on a carrier 1a (150 m 3 ) of a deodorizing device of the same type as that shown in FIG. 1 and separately prepared to remove the odor of 750 m 3 / m 3.
It was introduced into the deodorization tank 1 in the amount of in. The components of the exhaust gas passing through each deodorizing tank 1 were measured, and the results are shown in Table 1. Table 1
As is clear from the results, according to the method of the present invention, the complex odor is satisfactorily deodorized. On the other hand, the device according to the comparative method was inferior in deodorizing ability, and almost no deodorizing effect was obtained depending on odor components.
