PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft pulley wherein not only vibrations are prevented from being transmitted from a motor pulley to a shaft assembly by allowing the vibrations to be absorbed but also noises are not produced during the operation of a washing machine. SOLUTION: The shaft pulley 30 consists of a disk-shaped inside pulley 31b, an annular outside pulley 31b, and a vibration absorbing member 33 interposed between the pulley 31a and the pulley 31b. The member 33 is firmly mounted between the pulley 31b and the pulley 31a to absorb the vibration and impact exerted on the pulley 30. Thus damage to the shaft pulley 30 due to the impact exerted thereon can be avoided and noises are not produced during the operation of a washing machine.
