Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production of a decorative body being inexpensive, having warmth and being abundant in taste by a method wherein a twine prepared by twisting a plurality of threads together is stuck on the surface of a base, a finishing agent is applied on the surface thereof and the base is fitted to a pedestal. SOLUTION: This decorative body 1 is prepared by a method wherein a twine 3 made by twisting a plurality of threads 2 together is stuck on the surface of a base 4, a finishing agent is applied on the surface thereof and the base 4 is fitted to a pedestal 5. As for the thread 2, a thread for a braid is optimum. The thread 2 may be either a unicolored one or an intertwined one obtained by twisting gold or silver singles and multicolored signals together. A double-faced adhesive tape is stuck on the surface of the base 4 of which the material is a metal such as copper or aluminum and the twine 3 is stuck evenly on the surface of the double-faced adhesive tape. As for the finishing agent, a transparent acrylic resin emulsion is preferable. As to the pedestal 5, an appropriate accessory mount such as a ring mount or a breastpin mount is used in conformity with the use of the decorative body 1 and the base 4 is bonded on the surface of the mount by a transparent adhesive.

A decorative body characterized in that a twisted yarn formed by twisting a plurality of yarns is adhered to a surface of a substrate, a polisher is applied to the surface, and the substrate is mounted on a pedestal. 2. The decorative body according to claim 1, wherein the twisted yarn is spirally stuck on the entire surface of the substrate. 3. The decorative body according to claim 1, wherein several kinds of yarns having different colors are twisted into a twisted yarn.
