A small-sized device according to claim 1, further comprising locking means for detachably fixing the overlapped surface of the flap and the cover plate in a state where the flap is reversely overlapped with the cover plate. A carrying unit comprising a carrying case, a waist pouch, and a suspender, wherein the carrying case houses and holds a small-sized computer having a display on which a display is disposed, and a window for opening the display so as to be visible. And a cover plate hinged to the rear surface of the case body and covering the window portion and capable of standing and swinging up and down with respect to the window portion, wherein the cover plate is inclined. An erecting means is provided between the lid plate and the case main body for fixing and holding the inclined posture in an upright state, and a sunshade covering both sides of the window portion is provided between the inclined erect lid plate and the case main body. The waist pouch constitutes an openable and closable bag provided with a waist belt wound around the waist of an operator, and is supplemented by a core provided in the bag. A substantially flat supporting portion is formed by the top portion of the bag, and the waist pouch is placed near the front of the carrying case in a cantilevered state in which the front portion of the carrying case storing and holding the small computer is placed on the supporting portion.
