Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for hair setting agent having both of excellent hair set retention and god touch by formulating a specific polyether compound with carrageenan. SOLUTION: This composition prepared by formulating polyether compounds (0.5-30.0wt.%) with carrageenan (0.05-10.0wt.%). As the polyether compounds, preferable ones are compounds of the formula (x+y=20∼100; z=7∼15), particularly compounds of the formula (x+y=70; z=10). The polyether compound and carrageenan are preferably formulated in a ratio of the polyether compound to carrageenan of 0.5:1 to 20:1, particularly 1:1 to 10:1.
